Comment:

Easy class to pass due to material presented on each test. If most of the class struggles on a particular concept he will give some extra points even though he doesn't have to. He's also knowledgeable about each topic discussed in class. There is online homework but it is very easy to get good grades on each assignment. You will need the workbook.

Comment:

One of the absolute best professors I have ever had! Lectures were easy to follow and topics were able to be understood well. Great class and would definitely recommend anyone to take this class no matter what! Trust me on this, you will do great in this class! If you can take Gibson for any math class, do it!!

It doesn't matter which class it is, take Gibson for everything you possibly can!! I suck at math, barely came to class, and got a B! He is a great teacher, explains the material, gives great examples, and his test are fairly easy. Recommend to anyone!

Comment:

Tookcalc I (B), discrete math I (B) and now discrete math II (A @ midterm). Pretty straight forward, explains the subject well. Doesn't mind reviewing hard-to-grasp material. Homework/reviews mirror tests questions and he explains how material relates to real world problems. college is too much theory not enough application which deters students.

Dr. Gibson teaches so well. Explains thoroughly.You can't go wrong if you study. He usually does one homework assignment before each test and the test have 5 - 10 questions. He also is very helpful, although he's eager to get out of class.
