Comment:

Dr. Reneau is a nice prof who makes math enjoyable and responds to emails. Its best to go to class and use the review practice tests and you shouldnt have a problem. His grading rubric is a little confusing, but he offers two homework assignments up to two weeks late with no mark down.

Professor Reneau is great! Very organized. Does not post grades on Blackboard but easy to contact to talk about grades. Very kind and patient. Professor Reneau helped me for once, enjoy math. Does not take attendance but it's in your best interest to show up. Tests are exactly like study guides. Taking him again for Math 3050!

Such a kind hearted professor. Very helpful and perfect pace. Study guide is exactly like the test and gives lots of resources to help you study. Also, I'm terrible at math and I genuinely enjoyed his class.

I'm a freshman and I was in his Statistics with Support class. He has clear grading criteria and all of his labs and homework assignments are do-able. You will definitely get an A or B in his class if you show up to class and listen. There were two midterms and one final-all of which were formatted JUST LIKE THE STUDY GUIDE. He is willing to help!

This is the first semester this course was offered. He is a great professor and is super nice. Very outgoing and his lectures are easy. Homework is on what was taught that day in class. Accepts homework up to 2 weeks late. Tests are not too hard. Total of 3 exams and 1 final. Just copy everything he writes on the board and you will be fine.

Best professor for MATH 1600! I always sucked at math but he made this class so easy to pass, their are four tests which he also provides a study guide for and plenty of homework which he does grade but it is all fairly easy.

He is good at explaining the problems, but his lectures are boring as it is just him doing problems on the white boards as we watch. His study guides are like the test so make sure to do those.

I would love to take his class again because he makes everything so easy. Hwk ,lab & tests exactly the same ! Make everything understandable! Test are exactly like study guide, he just change the number. I would recommended you to take his class, trust me you wont regretted taking his class ! Awesome!

Comment:

This class wasn't difficult if you showed up for class, paid attention, and did the homework which was super easy. There were lots of homework assignments which helped your grade a lot, and smaller group assignments that were in class. The exams weren't hard, especially since he tells you what type of questions will be on the exam. Great professor!

Comment:

Professor Reneau is a solid choice for Stats! This is the first time ever that I enjoyed learning in a math class. He does give a lot of homework but it is based on a schedule and you have it ahead of time. Also I recommend taking thorough notes and writing down everything to stay on top of the concepts.

His homework assignments were short and helpful. We had three midterms, one paper, and the final. He provided helpful reviews of all the exams that helped me do well on them. Textbook wasn't mandatory, it was just for practicing problems. His class wasn't painful at all, and I'd definitely take Math 1040 with him if I could.

Best math teacher I've had. Gives practice problems with solutions for every single lesson, and same for the midterms. We had three tests and a final, and homework due 3-4 times a week. He is very understanding and allows a few late turn ins with no pentalty.

Good professor! His handwriting can be difficult to read sometimes, but he is good at addressing any questions. Reneau is easily approachable and is always trying to ensure his students understand the material.

Incredible professor! He made Statistics very fun and easy to understand. He gives great feedback and wants every student to succeed. He is very knowledgeable and is passionate about what he does. The study guides are just like the tests but with different numbers and every lab has an example that makes them easy to follow.

Homework at least once a week from assignments he made himself so you don't really need the book unless you want to review concepts. in it. Three tests and a midterm. Attendance was not mandatory, but we had in-class group assignments for credit so if you weren't there that day, you wouldn't get credit. He was very helpful whenever we had questions

I love Dr. Reneau! He is the most organized professor I have ever met. Grades easily. Tests are easy because he puts review problems on blackboard with solutions. He only changes the numbers when it comes to the test. I only went to class for the exams, but I made sure I went to his office hours to turn in homework and get labs checked off.

I'm really enjoying this class! He always gives a brief summary at the beginning of each class on the content from the previous class. He teaches everything so that everyone understands the concepts. Can turn in 3 late assignments before taking off half points. Can miss 1 group assignment. Don't have to purchase textbook. He's awesome!

Seriously hands down one of the best professors on campus. He makes everything so understandable, and if not it's easy to ask for help. He gives out study guides that are exactly like the test except different numbers. Plus, you don't have to memorize crazy formulas because he gives them to you for the test.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. Makes math incredibly easy and is willing to help you in anything you need. I am very glad I took his class. Easy A. As long as you complete the labs and assignments and reviews he gives before midterms and the final exams, they will be a piece of cake!
