He doesn't care about your grades. he isn't very caring of his students and when we have exams he doesn't even give a solid review. when he does notes, you must catch what you think is important he does not take notes on the board. He was kind of ignorant.

Not happy with this class at all. I'm not sure why there are so many positive comments about him. Overall I can't say I learned anything- he does a lot of ranting on his own political opinions and plays a lot of youtube videos not relevant to the lesson. It's an easy A but horribly boring and off topic class. Not the worst but still not very good.

Personally I loved Professor Finn! I though he was great! The class is easy if you show up every day. You need to study and do well on the exams or else your grade is screwed! Other than that class is easy he is an easy A for sure!

His class was a bit of a snore sometime, but he tried to crack jokes and laugh at them, they weren't funny his laugh was. He's a really good teacher, he's just really strong in his views and comes off a little preachy. HE also give extra credit so if your not doing too well tht helps. Yoúr gonna need your book for in class writing, you can use it.

Did not enjoy this class at all and didn't learn anything. Too many unrelated You Tube videos and opinions rather than actual history. Test reviews are NOT helpful and don't even cover what's actually on the test. Would NOT recommend this instructor.

I enjoyed the class, Its alot of reading HW and class is lectures, he goes over the important parts of each chapter which is quite obvious if you actually do the reading. I took the summer class so it was kind of fast but I still learned alot. Midterm/final and 3 quizzes, offers extra credit, easy class if you just take notes and read the textbook.

Pointless class, did not learn anything! He doesn't use the textbook to lecture, he just talks on and on about what he knows. Makes you watch You Tube videos throughout the class that have nothing to do with the test or textbook. Test are not open books, he does a review before the test that does NOT help. Quizzes are open book. Gives extra credit.

Quizzes are easy, Midterm and Final are a bit tough. I like history (Going for AA social science ed), but quite honestly the issue I had with this class was he was a talking textbook. I learned nothing because he went so fast. I would Recommend him if you need a history class credit but don't expect to learn much unless you enjoy endless lecture.

This dude is awesome. Gives tons of extra credit and gives 15 extra points just for attendance. There are two tests and 3 quizzes. You will learn without even knowing. Take him you will not regret it.

Follow the syllabus and you'll get an A. The book is neccessary, attendance is not. Go to class for Chapter days, quizes, reviews and tests. Do the outlines. Prof. Finn knows his stuff and will help you understand it. He's very clear about what he wants and offers extra credit.

He will drive you insane BUT NONE OF IT MATTERs- he gives 2 quizes that are open book essays. he is looking for length people I wrote nothing of value and recieved an A, then he gives a midterm and a final to which in the review he gives all the questions & answers. write 12, 1 page, double spaced summaries (gordon rule class) & pass with an A!!

Great class. History read and lecture style. Skim the chapter before class reading main points. He will lecture. Ask questions that help you learn and attend the review. He offers approximately 50 questions and answers during review. Write them down and make a good grade. Do not leave the Gordon Rule Summaries to the end of the course to do.

I've had Prof. Finn, although some of his oppinions are diferent from mine,he was very helpful, and sincerely cares about students trying to improve themselves. His class curriculum is not overwhelming, you get from his classes as much as you invest.
