Comment:

Professor McGeough makes sure his class understands concepts and goes through HW and tests with the class. Even though his tests may only be 33 questions make sure you do the study guides and the practice problems from class as they will help tremendously. I expected a walk in the park but do not drop your guard in this class. He is very caring.

Like a professor that likes to talk about how a class will relate to life? Majority of the time that's what he does, just rambles and takes forever to get back to the topic at hand. Repeats himself several times before moving on. Want to take the test and go home? Nah fam. He'll talk for half the class about the test before taking it.

His class lectures are very concise and specific. He'll repeat himself many times, but you'll appreciate it a lot. He provides personal shortcuts and hypothetical stories to put everything into perspective. He knows how to make the complex simple. Not bagging on any other accounting professor, but you'll be missing out if you don't take McGeough.

Online class. Class communicates through discussion boards. For each chapter, theres a homework assignment, a quiz, and you must post on the discussion board to get full credit. If you score over 70% on hw and quizzes and ask/answer a question, you'll receive full credit for the chapter. Basic and simple math, easy A.

Painfully slow. Good prof, though. Goes over every single minute detail, which is better in the end. You have to practice, practice on your own outside of class. Although his tests are multiple choice, they are NOT easy. Doesn't waste a minute of class time. Very organized class as well, would recommend.

AMAZING PROFESSOR! Currently taking him for Spring '17 Managerial Accounting. He really wants his student to succeed. Chapter quizzes are super easy cause he lectures and then practices them. Only about 3 exams, including the final which is cumulative. But only 33 questions per exam! TAKE HIM - accounting has never been so easier with him!

Definitely the best Accounting professor at Mt Sac. Goes straight to the point and tells you what you need to know. Has a good attitude and is very patient, which is what students definitely appreciate in a professor. Pay attention in class, do the homework and you'll definitely get a B, but put in a little extra effort and you'll get an A.

Online accounting homework was incredibly easy. Lets you bring cheat cheats into each test which makes them even easier. Just be careful about the online homework as it's incredibly easy to forget to do it before it is due. The book wasn't really used, just mainly the stuff on Cengage and his lecture notes.

He's honestly the best accounting professor at SAC. I took Domico for BUSA7 and I was so stressed in her class and he just really knows how to teach. He said this the 1st day "I've been teaching for so long that I know all the ?s you're confused and we'll be covering all of that". Weekly homework , journal, quizzes after ch., 2 group pres & 3 tests

Firm but fair professor. Clearly states what he wants from you and how you can achieve it, solidifying at least an A. Everything you need to know is in his lectures, so pay attention and take notes, because your homework could benefit greatly from it. He will tell you many times if you should pay attention to something for later. Bring the book.

He made online class very simple. His instructions were super clear and anytime I thought that I didn't understand something, he was very prompt to help. He doesn't constantly make you check in to see whats going on.. he doesn't make any major changes to schedules. This was my 2nd time taking this class and I'm very glad I took it with him.

Pay attention in his class and you will ace Cost Accounting. I'ts managerial accounting all over. I made the mistake of just passing the class instead of actually learning, and failed cost and intermediate accounting my first semester at CSUF lol. Upperdivision professors only get harder, so I suggest taking advantage of this great professor.

Absolutely awesome! Seriously, you have to look a while for people like McGeough, who can make accounting so fun and easy. And he puts up with our endless questions explaining things over when we don't get it; honestly, he has not a mean or impatient bone in his body, ha! Grades mercifully and gives plenty of time to get your work done. Take him!

Professor McGeough made accounting the easiest thing in life for me. His guidance and style of teaching makes every lecture stick like a piece of gum on your jeans. As long as you do your work it is a guaranteed A! Exams are fairly easy if one takes the proper preparation needed. McGeough is a very humble man willing to help anyone in need.

Prof. McGeough is awesome! He is well organized which means you concentrate on the material. He has teaching this class down to a science, but he is always willing to help and is very reasonable. Best accounting instructor at SAC easily!
