One of my absolute favorite professors ever. Truly an amazing man and teacher. Don't take his class if you are looking for an easy A, as he will push and challenge you. That being said, he is also incredibly helpful. He will spend as much time with you as you need. Do yourself a favor, take a class with him.

Daw! :3 He is just adorable and wonderful and all that is good in the world! He is very passionate and knowlegdable about his subject matter, a very generous grader, and he doesn't let his views on anything impact the way he teaches his class. He presents all the different religions fairly and respectfully. Just the best! :D

I took him for a night class of world religion. no exams, 6-2 page papers than counted as the exams, and a quiz each week. the quizzes have 12 questions but are only worth 10 points so you can miss 2 for free. the quiz is given before we talk about the material though, so you have to read.

I do not have any interest in religion, but he made the class interesting. There were 4 paper assignments, which I found to be very easy. Dr. Aune is very nice and a fair grader. I recommend him for the religion requirement.

Dr. Aune is an incredibly caring professor. He is always willing to work with students and do whatever he can to help students. He is very knowledgeable and shows much interest. I would recommend him for majors and non-majors.

I only had Dr. Aune for Accent on Success, which in itself is a pointless and useless class. However he was a very kind man, and very approachable for help when needed. He is an adorable little old man and I am sure in a class that matters he would be a very useful and knowledgeable.

Dr. Aune is one of my favorite professors at AU after taking his Religion 106 class. He's a really nice guy. He's open-minded, which is really nice at AU. Class discussions are a bit boring, but I think that's more the students than Dr. Aune. If you want to you can get by without learning much, but you can also learn a lot if you want to.

Is a boring class because its over religion. But besides that it was one of my more favorite classes to go to. I did none of the required readings and still got an A-. Like how he gave you choices on the 2 papers. The papers are 1500-2000 words. But this really helps you learn the material. Would take this professor again!

Extremely easy class if you just do the work. He gives you a review sheet for each test which has all the info you need to know, including exactly what the essay is going to be. All you need to do is study that material and read, and its a cakewalk. I did what was required and got over 100%.

His lectures are a bit boring. The assigned reading was hard to get into, which lead to being totally lost in class. I wouldn't recommend this class to a non religion major.

Clear, articulate, works hard to get answers from students. If you speak in class it goes much more smoothly and is less boring for all involved parties. Nice person and willing to work with/ help students as much as possible. Not a huge work load and papers are short (usually 5 pgs.).

I learned a great deal in this class and he is very willing to work with you. He may get boring at times but that is just the subject topic. If you're just taking the class for a credit you may not be all that interested. Lots of work, but worth it!
