Professor Bonds is someone who if you try and put in effort then he will help you out, he definitely cares about his students. I definitely recommend him, just make sure to stay on top of homework (it piles up) and ALWAYS do the test review guides because trust me they help. Show up to class and if you can attend his study sessions they help too.

Professor David Bonds was extremely helpful with the difficulty of an online class. Makes video lectures on notes and gives you tons of material to study as long as you actually use it and participate. He is extremely understanding and flexible and will always extend due dates if you need more time on your homework.

Keep up with the homework & the lecture notes so it doesn't pile up towards the exam date. The practice is exam is similar to the test so do it!! He has office hours & online zoom meetings to help you with the material. Sometimes he'll even say which problems will be on the test. Grade is mostly made up of tests but do the homework for free points!

He goes beyond the "required" to make sure motivated students do well. He was online reviewing with students until 11 pm before the semester final. He really cares about his students, provides incredible support & feedback, and grades fairly. Be prepared to work hard, show all your work on exams.

This is a teacher who knows what he's doing. If you enter this class, you need to put forward effort. He goes through all of the material, but the majority of your grade for the class is tests. What matters is the tests, but if you are not 100% sure of doing great in the class, do the notes and homework for some credit. You'll need it.

650 homework questions the entire semester, gives practice tests that are very similar to the actual exam, holds two-4 hour open review sessions a week along with online zoom meetings to go over topics. Very approachable, knows what he is talking about. Great prof, but likes to get off topic during class, which can be annoying. Must work for an A!

Not a good professor. I was an online student & he NEVER gave videos of HIM. They were always videos of other professors on YouTube that had different steps & ways of doing things, so I obviously got confused very quickly and didn't use the steps her preferred. I always went in for tutoring and studied for hours and seriously still got a D+.

Do you believe? Bonds is a great calc professor. Provided a lot of help outside of class for those struggling with homework. Long lectures but taken right from the book and he goes into detail step by step to solve problems. Notation matters a lot! Definitely helped build a strong calc foundation, do your homework and ask questions

I worked my butt of in his class and still didn't pass. I highly recommend that if you haven't taken HIS pre-calc class then DONT take him for calc 1 He is extremely tough and has very high expectations for his students, he wants us to know it and do it right but he doesn't really take into consideration the students who aren't math majors. :(

Calculus 2 is no joke in general and I think some people blame him for that which isn't fair in my opinion. Just make sure you attend class, do the homework, and pay attention. Missing a few days will set you miles behind.

Mr. Bonds is an amazing teacher that truly wants his students to succeed. This class was very difficult but that is what to expect for Calc II. As long as you do the HW and the study guide at least three times, you will do well.

He offers extra hours out side of class & if you attend the study sessions will give you extra credit on your test. There is a lot of HW but more practice. & practice makes perfcect! He is particular on notation but just follow & you're golden.

Professor Bonds is all around a great person who is willing to make sure his students succeed. However, he assigned way too much homework. Most of the time, the homework problems are harder than the problems he does in class. Do the HW, but don't stress about it Focus on the chapter reviews. Overall take him if you don't mind late nights doing math

This course is not easy, but he is definitely accessible inside and outside of the classroom. He provides the students with a comprehensive review before the test, which if practiced several times, will give you a solid A. This course is homework and test heavy. I advise anyone to weary if they are taking a heavy course load.

Professor Bonds is a great teacher! He is very thorough on explaining how to do each problem and is more than happy to answer any questions. For the exams, he wants you to show your work each step of the way. He does give a good amount of homework, but it is not worth many points compared to the exams.
