Comment:
Grade is only based on exams - 6 lab and 6 lecture. I've recorded his lectures and he legit only talks on topic for 30 minutes. He's a great guy, there is just a disconnect when it comes to lecture exams and the amount of detail we are given during class. Lab practicals aren't that bad if you really put in the work to memorize everything.

Lecture ppts are online, he gives out info that is necessary for exams during lecture. Exams aren't too hard as long as you go over the ppts and notes during lecture. He's very understanding and explains things well. People say he gets off tangent, but it kinda helps to remember info for exams. Subject itself is difficult, he makes it easier.

Anatomy requires a lot of memorization. You really have to put the time and effort into the class to do well. Professor Brady is really good with answering questions and being there for his students and he does have some great stories that give you a break from studying for a bit. If you study, youll do well.

since the grade is only based on 6 exams (1 lab, 1 lecture per exam) then the grading scale needs to be changed. the study guide helps with the lab but rarely with the lecture. an A should be an 85 and up.

He gives you a study guide but the exam has things that we never have heard of in class and are not in the study guide. You really do have to memorize the book. It's frustrating because you would think the study guide tells you what you should focus on. Also, if he cut out his stories, the class would be cut in half.

Prof. Brady is knowledgable and always willing to answer questions. I liked his stories, he has done some cool stuff and much of it was related to what we were going over in class. Graded only by exams, but there is no homework! Great for when you have to take another hard class same semester. Lec and lab study guide is your BF, know it!

does talk abt his personal life ALOT we spent a good 35-45 min abt his fun witty stories during class but we could have gotten out at earlier time. I ONLY did study guides&ppts based4 Micro&got 68's on his exams :/ So I am not sure if the book would have helped out? Lab is integrated into lecture grade. labcoats, slides, blotch paper free in class!!

Took his class for about 1 month during Fall '17 semester. I withdrew because he spent most of class talking about his personal life rather than microbiology. He seemed like a nice guy, but... I'm paying tuition to get an education, not to listen to him ramble on about his life outside of school.

He is knowledgeable. I'll give him that. But he talks more about his personal life than he does about anatomy! If I had the opportunity to write about his bird or about his trips to Antártica, I would ace that paper. If I got tested on his personal life, I'd pass it with flying colors. It's obvious he doesn't really care about teaching.

Took the class with him during summer session while working full-time. This class will definitely make you work hard. To get an A in this class, you need to go to the lecture, take notes, read the book, and take advantage of the lab to study the material/models. Human anatomy is a straightforward subject, but you need to study!

I left his anatomy class knowing more about his personal life than I did anatomy. Almost everyone was struggling because he wouldn't cover anything in class. At one point I stopped going to class so I could study for it- that goes to show how much he takes his job seriously.

ALL EXAM BASED! If you aren't good at taking tests don't take his class. All of your points come from lab and lecture exams, if you're lazy you won't do well. Must spend lots of time studying, do the study guide and put the time in and an A is very possible. He curves the class an A is 88 since there's no fluff in your grade just test scores.

An A/B is feasible if you do SG & review Power Points. The book is to further explain the main points from the SG as it can be overwhelming. Use lab hours to ask him questions you need help with. He will take the time to answer them. He doesn't get upset so don't assume he doesn't want to be bothered. The exams are straight forward if you STUDY.

I don't know why everybody is saying he has trick tests. I'm lazy asf and I got a B. Overachievers over-analyze. Everything on his tests was on the study guides. So what if he talks about his life. You're probably ignoring it anyways. I found him personable and his wit was a bit shady, but it's good to sip a little tea anyways. You do you Dave.

I studied for it for the test the whole week, went to open labs, reviewed his power points and did everything on his "study guide" ("" because its not helpful). Did all of that and still got a low grade on the test. His so called study guide was NOT helpful at ALL. Test was way different. I regret taking him. He DOESNT teach. He JUST test HARD.

He talks about his life during lecture, so you don't have much time for lab bc he finishes his lecture with your time. Don't have good grades afer the first 3 test, he wont talk to you Does not explain and does not care. Makes own test so you wont "cheat" from other classes. Very rude. TAKLS AND TAKLS ABOUT HIS PERSONAL LIFE EVEN IF YOU DONT CARE

There are few points you can earn in the class. Its just exams and a few lab work. He should provide more points to earn in the class. Or at least drop the lowest test grade. Then his ratings would go up on here.

Professor Brady is known to be the trick master on his exams; however, he wants us to analyze the question rather than to just recall on short term memory. Mr. Brady tests evaluates who really understands the concepts. Therefore, I believe he prepared me for what's coming for in nursing school.

I'm a straight A student, nursing major and had to drop the class because he was the worst teacher I've ever had. Extremely diff tests, not helpful at all. I would read and study like crazy, It's like he gets a kick out of tricking you on the exams. That is not teaching. Took at City and got an A.
