Very supportive and encouraging professor. He provides several resources to help you understand the material. I am taking him again for 1409. This professor goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to be successful in his classroom.

Dr. Dollar is an amazing professor. I wish I could take him for all my courses. I greatly appreciate him for everything. When I wanted to give up he encouraged me not to. I did not give up and it was worth it. Because of him I am able to receive my associate's degree. Thank you so much.

Comment:

Professor Dollar is a great teacher! Why? Because he is encouraging and is consistently available to answer questions. Its an online class so expect to read but he helps a lot by providing slide shows, chapter reviews and videos to break it down. But ASK QUESTIONS! His is very thorough with His answers.

This is the best class have ever attended. I took him for spring. He gives you a lot of time to revise for the exams and lots of revision questions. He is always willing to explain and encourages students throughout the semester. As long as you study your notes and ask questions, you will pass easily.

I took Dr. Dollar during the summer and I don't regret it! He's a really great professor and actually explains into details. It was a fast paste because it was a summer course but I enjoyed chemistry with him! His quizzes online will help you. Never thought that I would be so good in chemistry until I took his class!!

Dr. Dollar is a great professor. He explains stuff really well. I took the online version of the class (which still has on campus labs) and I wish I had taken the regular lecture with him. I wish he taught Chem II so I could take him again.

Dr. Dollar can be very intimidating at first, but lightens up as the semester moves forward. He gives a very clear review over what is on his exams so there arent any surprises. He offers a lot of study tools and practice so there is no reason students should fail this course.

I didn't like or understand chemistry until I took Dr. Dollar's class. He explained everything clearly and gives a lot of practice problems so you can work them out and understand them. He gives you a lot of good notes and I kept them all becuase they're so helpful for other chem classes. I'd highly recommend him. Thank you so much Dr. Dollar!

I took his online class and the tests are on campus. OMG, this teacher is so hard. He is so intimidating that when he explains in lab, you can't ask a question. His quiz online are very hard and set up for not getting a 100. The system knocked me off 3 times, i emailed him but he did nothing. Do yourself a favor and take an understandable teacher

I started Dr. Dollars class terrified of chemistry. I left his class loving chemistry. My father has a masters in chemistry and tried to teach me many times over again. None of it made since till I took Dr. Dollars class. He makes the subject easy to understand. I would take him again. He gives lots of works sheets and extra study material.

BEST CHEMISTRY TEACHER. I thought I'd fail this class if I take it for summer but I was wrong. He will explain to you a problem and gives examples if you don't understand. His quizzes are mandatory but they helped me so much for his tests. Study hard, and you will be fine!

Dr. Dollar is amazing at what he does. He always made sure that everyone understood a topic before he moved on. There's a quiz due every week except for the last week of the month. They are fairly easy, mostly grade boosters. No homework, and tests are average but he grades hard. I would highly recommend him because I learned a lot from him.

This professor is one of the smartest men on the planet! He is also the epitome of what a great professor should be. You will leave this course feeling like a genius. He's fair and expects what he knows you are capable of. Be on time, do the work and I promise you will excel. I aced my nursing med calculation exam because of Dr. Dollar. Dude rocks!

I love Dollar, this was my 2nd time taking him and sad I can't take him for 1412. Chemistry is not an easy class, you definitely have to work hard for your grade. So much to learn and memorize but it's not impossible! There's no reason you can't get an A in this class. Gives you videos to watch and plenty practice problems that most people don't do

Warning don't take his class if you have no prior knowledge of chemistry. He expects you to know all your Polyatomic ions and conversions by memory. He takes off point for misspelling chemical element from periodic table. His review are the same but worded differently. Must have memorized all formula's before attenmpting this class.

Dr. Dollar is a good teacher, but everyone learns different. He needs to stop going so fast with his power points he should give everyone the chance to write down and then explain. I took him for summer 2.. this class goes by fast ppl. So if you're not good in chemistry just take it in the fall or spring. You need the code for hw.
