Dr. Senseman doesn't really teach you the material, which makes the course harder, but he does explain how to do the lessons. The lessons are all on RStudio, which is a computer software that's free. However, he is really understanding and nice, so he can be lenient with grading. Show up to his office hours and he'll help a lot then.

Spectacularly bad. Supposed to teach us R, but gave us lessons designed for MatLab. Never actually gave lectures. Always arrived 10 minutes late, if not more. Rushes iClicker questions without giving time to respond. Not helpful when you ask questions. Gives in class assignments which we never leaned how to do. Avoid him for CS1173!!!

Not a great professors, but an easy class - show up or your grade goes down. Has no patience w/ iclicker questions, he'll loudly count down faster than the clock. You can get away with not reading the book. ALSO DONT BUY THE BOOK, he'll tell you to get it on amazon, but there's a free old version online that he does the lectures by.

He is the worst professor I've ever taken. Most of your grade is from iclicker questions and he mumbles a lot while going over the power points. 3 exams which are hard only thing you can bring note cards. He doesn't teach anything or offer extra credit.

Horrible professor. The majority of the class is him asking iclicker questions & its how he takes his attendance. Doesnt give extra credit, skims through his slides mumbling about the material. Only pro is he lets you have two notecards for exams but his tests are hard & he shows up late expecting you to finish a 50 question test in 40 minutes.

Senseman is not a great professor. His entire class is iclicker questions that he doesn't know the answer to himself. Someone asked a question about one and he told her he could Google it. The tests are very specific questions and more bio than a&p. iclicker questions are the majority of your grade.

Let me give you the skinny on Senseman, caring man, who cares about his students, just is out of sorts when it comes to lecturing. He believes you should read the book, not rely on someone to teach you, fair enough. In class quizzes are a majority of your grade, 3 tests which are hard, but do-able if you study. Show up everyday, youll pass.

Oh... where should I begin! If you want an easy A AND are ready to go to EVERY SINGLE CLASS, I recommend taking him. However, if you want to learn, he is the wrong teacher for you. Our class asked him a question and he told us to GOOGLE IT! You will not be prepared for Anatomy II if you are planning to take it. You can use notecards on the test.

Senseman is such a caring professor who really cares about his students & helping them pass. He does iclicker questions everyday so you can show up to class but most of them are on quizlet & chegg. He gives you a review & a practice exam before the exam so you know what to study and what to expect. Overall, i love him & def recommend, u wont regret

He's late to class many times, he is iclicker dependent which is a huge portion of your grade, and he does not know how to teach. For example, he speaks quietly and mumbles making his students think he really does not know the material. He also skims through his slides skipping information that will most likely be on the test. Don't take him.

Reviewing powerpoints before class helped. I read chaters during the beginning, but he goes too fast. Mandatory iclicker questions that account for the bulk of your grade come directly from powerpoint. Allowed two 5x9 notecards for tests, and reviewed questions before. Boring class, but not super difficult.

Senseman is not a good professor, so bad to the point that he doesn't even understand some topics himself. He'll try to explain it then realize in front of the class that he doesn't know it himself then turn around and say "just make sure you know it." Tests you over the material either way. Never really figured out a way to do well in the class.

Had him for biostats and his class was very easy. He'll just lecture from slides and he has iclicker questions that are super easy and he usually shows the answer as a joke. His coding tests are usually super easy because he gives a review that has the exact same questions and even if you don't do so good he gives points for trying. No homework.

Dr. Senseman is by far the worst professor I have ever had. He does not care about his students or the material he "teaches". If you want to do well you will have to teach yourself and perform well on the daily clicker quizzes. Grades are based off of a bogus point system. Clicker quizzes end up being worth 2 exam grades at the end of the semester.

This class has got a lot of kinks to work out. Tests are ridiculous and there's no good way to study for them. Can use notes on tests so be sure to take good ones or you will be lost. He mostly just talks at the class during lecture-boring and hard to follow. Test days are sink or swim. I didnt use book but maybe it would have helped. Quizes daily.

Senseman is one of those professors that knows a lot of information but can't explain anything to save his life. He has quizzes everyday about the chapter you were supposed to have read and that basically all we do in class. He's always comparing his teaching strategies with those of other teachers clearly showing that HE doesn't know what hes doin

His class questions are ridiculous but his tests are the easiest out of all the professors at UTSA. He usually doesn't know what he's talking about so read the book instead of wasting your time trying to ask him questions he won't be able to answer. Be ready when you go to class or you'll do poorly on the lecture questions.

Senseman is all iClicker questions quizzes for class and reads off Powerpoints. Come to class reading the chapter you are going over BEFORE class. Test banks are a VERY GOOD FRIEND. Find someone who has take his class because he recycles a lot of questions.

The key to a good grade in this class is iClicker questions during the lecture. His grading system makes it so that in-class questions are worth 2 exam grades. I did poorly on the first set of quizzes questions averaging a C. Then made a B, then an A. I consistently got A's on the exams and exempted the final. Test banks are your friend.
