Comment:
Best professor at Temple Law. While his teaching style may not be great for those students who write down everything a teacher says, he describes the issues and themes you need to know VERY clearly and in a way that forces you to analyze the bigger picture and grasp the full concepts.

Comment:
Revolutionized a more practical approach to teaching evidence and criminal procedure in the law school setting. The previous more theoretical case book approach was particularly ineffectual for these procedural subjects. One of the best and coolest teachers I ever had. Highly recommended for CLEs also.

Evidence has never been clearer. He knows his stuff, is to the point, and has the personal stories and examples to back it up. He keeps class interesting by varying content and humor. What he gives you in class is what he expects on the exam-multiple choice and fill in the blanks. Also he is the dreamiest professor on campus. No joke.

Crystal clear, engaging, and sticks to the material. Turned evidence into my favorite class. The best. Don't bother with the textbook - he'll give you everything you need from the rulebook. Good looking guy, too!

He's the best. Taught Civ Pro in the clearest fashion imaginable. He may talk fast, but he does an excellent job re-iterating the main points to distill from that day's class. Ex. and Explain. (Glannon) is great to reinforce.

Sonenshein did the impossible: he made civ pro interesting. I don't know if I could have gotten through this class w/ any other prof. Energetic, Kind and approachable- overall an amazing human being. Definitely get a commercial outline no matter what prof. you take for civ pro. I love this man!

Comment:
I spent 90% of Sonenshein's class going, "What did he just say?" and reading another classmate's notes from over her shoulder. The man speaks so quickly that it's hard to try to understand what he says and type at the same time. A lot of people love him, but I found him and his "that having been saids" too much to bear.

Brilliant guy, clever and witty. Class was very clear - we talked policy a little, but he always got to the point. Good black letter approach. Exam wasn't hard, but everybody had the same notes. Don't bother with the casebook. Easy on the eyes, too.

Bring a bib to class 'cause everything is "spoon-fed". Very clear/very funny/great lecturer. Totally makes material understandable. Beware- exam won't be that easy because everyone took the same notes. Be prepared for exam by taking good notes a
