David works as a full time engineer and only teachers one class per term, so often told us real life applications, to the math we were learning, in his field. Every class, it seemed like he wanted to be there and I always received helped when requested. David is personable, helpful, and has a clear teaching style. 10/10 would recommend--hes awesome

I was terrified of math before taking this class with Mr. Wills. He shows you multiple ways to solve the same problem and encourages you to use whichever is best for you. He takes the time to answer any questions and is determined to get you to understand. Also, if you're taking the hybrid class, the entire book is online so don't purchase it!

I took this as a hybrid class. He was EXCELLENT!! One of the most organized teachers I have ever had. He is VERY easy to talk to and very available to answer questions. He answers emails promptly. I would HIGHLY recommend taking this class from him. You do have to work very hard if you want an "A."

David is nice, however he tends to repeat himself with class room announcements. His class would be improved if it was a 3x a week class, rather than the 1x a week that I had taken. His use of My Math Lab however is very useful in the course.

David is a very approachable instructor who would like to see you succeed in math/life. He makes himself more than available for any and all ?'s. Very helpful & relates math to life and how you will apply it to stuff that pertains to you personally. Very amazing instructor, highly reccommend.

Mr. Wills loves to go off on a tangent during class, while trying to explain things. If you take it from him, I'd recommend taking the hybrid class. The online homework/quizzes/tests are MUCH MORE HELPFUL than he is. He's approachable, but in class lecture seems to be a bit of a waste...

One of the best teachers here. I hope to take him for 112. He wants to help and makes himself available. You need to know your mth95 stuff and you will do great. The only negative is the mathlab online. Kind of cool but you have to answer in certain formats and you end up getting marked wrong when its right.

Skips lots of steps in example problems on board. Between speed talking his way through class and skipping steps in problems without explaining what he did in skipped step, I was completely confused. Teaches this way when you stay after class for extra help too. Seems like nice guy. Just doesn't understand that most haven't seen this stuff before

(.....cont.)Everyday, students including myself would ask him to slow down. It worked for about 2 min. tops...then he was back to lecturing like he was auctioning off the chalk in his hand. Some students even started getting mad at him during class for refusing to stop and re-explain the material. Extremely frustrating and infuriating.

If you like structure, clarity and tests which reflect what you've learned, and like the reviews, take him! Took 111 in 4 weeks and did very well, takes time, is kind, humerous and clear. Very organized man and manages the class this way. Gives great examples too!
