Honestly one of the best professors I have ever had at UNL. He really cares about his students and if you show that you are putting in the effort he will give you an A. Basically if you go to class and pay attention you'll do great.

I took his Historical Geography of Nebraska class. Overall it was a good class, but the fact that his tests were essay based were kind of difficult, so you need to make sure that you go to class. Everything he does over in class will be covered on the exam, so take really good notes. The books only cover the quizzes, the lectures cover the tests

Very good professor! Very knowledgable in his subject matter and concerned with students on a personal level. I had his class at 8am every and never missed because lecture was not only incredibly helpful on exams but also interesting.
