Comment:

It is clear that Professor Meyer loves what she does, and is fully committed to her students. Very understanding, compassionate, and kind. Definitely take her class if you have to take economics. I would love to have another class with her. She is always willing to be available for extra help, and will take time to help you.

(online class) I thought I would like her more from these ratings. She's nice, really smart but I didn't find her class all that easy. Had to read the textbook for a quiz each week. 3 unit exams ..2 papers and a discussion post per unit. You use the same textbook for Macro and Micro. You need it, even if you take different professors.

I took Meyer specifically because of her rating on rate my professor. She was awful at explaining things and talked about her grandchildren 75% of the time. Barely learned the topics discussed in class and had to seek extra help just to come close to passing. If you actually want to understand macro economics. DO NOT take her. Was very disappointed

She's a really sweet women, and she'll definitely take her time with you. I didn't understand Economics it's why I changed my major, but overall she's really caring and wants to help you pass.

(online class) overall, I enjoyed Professor Meyer as my online professor for her microeconomics class. Personally, I wish I knew how much math was involved before taking the class, I personally struggled with that. She is incredibly accommodating to outside classroom needs. gave great feedback on papers.

Probably one of the nicest, most student oriented human beings on the planet. She will sit with students for HOURS after class to help them understand the material. The class was pretty easy and the work was kind of tedious. The grading criteria is super clear and she literally tells you what is going to be on the test. TAKE THE PRACTICE QUIZES

The structure of this class is really simple and she makes incredibly hard to fail. 3 units, each unit has a discussion, an internet assignment, a current event, self-quizzes, and an exam. You get multiple chances for each quiz and exam. However, note that it isn't week-by-week course. You could have 2+ things due within a few days of each other!

Professor Meyer is a very caring professor, she wishes for all of her students to exceed. I loved coming to class because she opens the lecture with current business news and trends! She comes to class prepared and teaches at a moderate pace so everyone throughly learns the material! She's very funny too!

Prof. Meyer is an AMAZING professor!! I had her for macroecon and she made the class so enjoyable & interesting! She relates the information we learn to current events and takes the time to go over each concept and thoroughly & explains the information in a way that is easy to understand! Taking her for micro this summer bc she is so great!!!

One of the best teachers I have had at Brookdale. This class you cant study the night before you have to pace yourself . The tests are huge you want to make sure you pass them all since they are 85% of your grade. Many of my class mates got an A because she lays out everything you need to know. If you are a slacker I would not take her... (STUDY)

Prof. Meyer was one of the nicest professors I've had at brookdale so far. She's caring, nice, funny and an overall good person. She offers SO MUCH extra credit so it would be almost impossible to fail the class. I should have earned a B but ended up getting an A+ with extra credit. Tests are right off the study guide and the occasional HW.

Prof. Meyer is the sweetest professor I've had at Brookdale yet. She genuinely cares about the grades her students get and is super personable. I had her for Macro and Micro, you use the same workbook. She keeps you updated with current events and gives extra credit. Wish I could have her again!

Prof. Meyer is an amazing professor! i took her for macro and again for micro because she is just the best! she wants you to do good and will help you w/ whatever you need. 3 tests, 1 project, and EASY homework. i wish she taught more than just micro/macro because i would take her again in a heartbeat. i'd deff recommend her to everyone!

Professor Meyer is so awesome! She made my first semester/ my Mondays so much more bearable. She teaches current events for the beginning of the class and I learnt a lot. She keeps the class interesting and tells you what to study for the exam. Love her! Can't wait to take her for Micro!

Prof. Meyer is the cutest! She talks about current events for the first hour which can be annoying but good to learn about bc i dont have time to watch the new. 3 tests, homework (super easy the answer r in book), online quiz questions are on the test. Dont buy textbook just the workbook. Extra credit is given. Just show up and study and u'll pass

She's such an amazing professor and I'm sure the best economics professor. Of course, economics is confusing and hard, but she makes it so bearable and clear. She cares about her students and them passing. Asks how you are. Gives help during the tests and extra credit. Helpful study guides. DO THE ONLINE quizzes, they're so helpful.

I've never had a professor that was as concerned about her student's success as Professor Meyer. She gives you every opportunity to improve your grade and always answers your questions without rushing you.
