I'm pretty good at math. In my previous math classes I've made a 95+. But prof Brown can make math more difficult than it actually is. She gets her own examples wrong. Even the answers on her review were wrong. Even if you're a math person, save your GPA and take calculus with someone else. I promise you won't learn/understand anything she teaches.

The WORST professors I have ever had! Make mistakes all the time in class and confuses students. math is fun to me, but she made me hate math. She doesn't teach you stuff, so you are not ready for your feature classes. her exam is mostly the same is the review. the final is a lot harder than the normal exam. good luck if you choice her.

One of the worst professors I have ever had. Never prepared for class, and didnt understand her own material. She was late to class almost every day. She was nice as a person but as a professor, she was scatter brained, unorganized, and hard to talk to. Basically if you dont understand, oh well !!! Get used to using the math lab.

I loved her class! Very scheduled and I knew what to expect. 2 homeworks and one quiz every week, an occasional lab and then a test every couple weeks. Replied to all of my emails literally within an hour and when I was sitting at an 89 she helped me to get an A. Would take her again, and I am next semester!

I took Calculus I online this semester with Prof Brown. I am terrible at math, but I have managed a solid grade in this class. If you aren't good at math, don't take onlineit has nothing to do with her specifically, it has everything to do with how you learn. But she gives lots of creditjust seriously try to answer everything you can. She's great

she will never reply to any of her emails. good luck if you are taking her calculus class bc she does not teach, there is no way of communicating with (because she ignores all emails), and there is no room for extra credit. Calculus isn't too bad but she made the class miserable. save your GPA, and take calc in class

I took her class for statistics she was a good teacher. 4 test which weren't too hard if you study and pay attention in class. MUST GO TO CLASS OR YOU WILL BE LOST 10 online quizzes which are easy. Overall easy class if you do your work.

THE WORST. she will never reply to any of her emails. it takes her (literally) two months to grade a singular test. she does not curve ANYTHING. more than half the class is failing and she still won't do anything about it. if you want to get an A or even learn calculus don't take her. Expect a quiz and 3-4 assignments every week.

Very nice person, but very bad professor. She does a lot to help her students but it washes with how confusing she is. Be prepared to learn on your own by reading the book. I never payed attention to her because when I did I got more confused than I already was, and she makes mistakes left and right and so there is a lot of erasing and going back.

She is the sweetest nicest person ever. However, she isn't a very good teacher. I have to admit that she is getting better as the semester is progressing, but it is simply not enough. She is very confused and unclear on what she's doing. She relies on the book for everything. You need to be able to use the book and learn on your own.

She is not very clear instructor. She is all over the place. She lacks direction, focus, objective and you are never sure where she is going. She just follows the book, which means like textbook, she is incomprehensive. But she seems nice, I think, so I can't tell, but as a teacher, she isn't very good.

Do not take for business calculus. She is the worst teacher I've ever had at Collin. Constantly messes up problems on the board and doesn't know what she is teaching. Horrible, avoid at all cost.

Comment:

Kinda all over the place, but she is such a nice woman. You need to do your homework, but she is so flexible and helpful if you have to miss. Gives extra credit on tests, and tests are really easy! The comprehensive final is super easy too! Explains things in simple terms instead of all the math jargon. Very good professor and very knowledgable.

Comment:

Difficult class. The textbook was not too clear at times and focused a lot on proofs, had to learn a lot through Khan academy. Got answers wrong because the input software was inconsistent. Very frustrating. Luckily, her tests are straight-forward and are very similar to the review (note: her review's answer sheets are sometimes incorrect...)
