She is very understanding, answers emails back fairly fast, and cares about her students. She wants to see everyone pass and will help students until they understand. Don't recommend skipping a class unless necessary because it's hard to pick back up the next class with new signs. Overall one of the best professors ever. Makes class enjoyable.

I loved her. If you do not get the material she will show you until you get it! She is very understanding. Their are a few papers that are so helpful into understanding the culture. I enjoyed writing and participating! She is an amazing teacher!!! I would take her class again!!!

One of the best professors that i've had here at LCCC she is funny and is very understanding! her classes are engaging and fun. When you reach the end of the material you find yourself wanting to take a second course. But if you miss a class it is very hard to learn the signs because the book is outdated & absolutely sucks, which is not her fault.

She genuinely wants every student to do well. She has a great sense of humor and really helps open your eyes not only about learning ASL, but learning about the deaf community. She requires you to do a paper about being deaf for a day and another paper after going to 2 deaf community events.

She is probably one of the best professors I've ever met. ASL isn't easy, but she makes it as painless as possible. I wish LCCC had four levels, I would take each with her. By her wit, and the quality of her lectures, I would have expected to find her at a school that costs MUCH more. Highly recommended!

I love her!! She's an amazing teacher and you'll learn alot from her class. Not only sign language but about deaf culture too. I recommend her class to everyone!!

She's terrific! She makes learning ASL fun..she has a great sense of humor and is very understanding. She will help you with anything to make sure you understand the material. Would recommend especially for those new to ASL although I can't imagine anyone not enjoying her class.

Great teacher very helpful. if you can get her for ASL 1 do it you'll learn a ton. she makes you work but she lets you have fun too. a great teacher and an interesting person.
