He gave a pop quiz on a problem because no one knew how to solve it so we didn't answer how to solve it when he asked. He hasn't given any reminders about homework since the first day. The home work is not helpful, repetitive, and takes too long. He tries to be funny but just wastes class time that he claims is precious.

He's a really chill old guy. Real smart when it comes to math. he's always willing to listen you out and repeat if you ask him. As long as you get your job done, you gonna have a good time with him.

Very old school but smart prof. He was helpful when you needed him. I'm actually dropping my current math class and looking for an open spot in his. Comes off as strong but he's very understanding. Strongly recommend!

He's a good guy, really dry sense of humor. Sometimes it's funny though. The subject itself is really hard for me, hes' a pretty good teacher though. Ask him for extra help and he'll be understanding though. He's a cute lil old man.

He is VERY old/oldschool. He used to lecture to the class about how important it is to not be late, yet we were the ones on time. I learned what was on the test mostly by doing the HW since he could never really figure out his technology. Didn't enjoy going to class. Wouldn't recommend.

I struggled in his class after taking trig in high school. His tests are only 25 questions so 4 points for each question. That was difficult because if you get a couple wrong it brings your grade down. He has trick questions. He doesn't let you go to the bathroom either. My class got in a lot of arguments with him about it. So silly.

took this class in fall2012. he is an excellent teacher. very old school, nothing wrong with that. i taught everything clearly. has great time management. very helpful. reviews for exams. homework is mathlab. he knows what he is teaching. and will explain it until u get it. very helpful professor.

Had him mat118 and mat160. Solid teacher. He can be sarcastic and doesnt like you walking in late. He might move quick but if you ask for help he will do whatever to help you get it. Just keep asking. The key is to ask for extra help and work in the mymathlab, you can almost teach yourself with the example questions on there and your textbook

Great teacher!!!!!!!I think the negative comments were by people who were not serious students. He bent over backwards to help everyone who made an effort. I ran a couple of minutes (2 or 3)late once or twice, but I did my work and participated. Thanks to Jack Biglin's algebra, I scored in the top 2% on the TEAS-he rocks!

Horrible professor, stay away. Grading system is ridiculous, he thinks he's something special. Sarcastic, arrogant, rude, teaches all over the place and very pointless, class bores you to tears and if you walk in exactly at the time class starts he'll point you out to the class and tell you he'll start marking it as a tardy, like come on!

DO NOT TAKE THIS INSTRUCTOR! He is SARCASTIC and very difficult - talks way over your head. His grading system should be illegal. A 91% is a B and an 83% is a C in his class. If you are late he will give you an attitude - and I mean like 5 minutes. Kicks you out after 2 missed classes. No understanding for people coming from work to class.
