You should take his class if you want to know real math. He is very clear in his lectures and even in grading. He is extremely smart and knowledgable in his field. I would highly recommend him if you love Math and want to learn more!!!

He is great! He never skips questions and always gives detailed explanations. You don't have to memorize. He explains the themes in a way you understand why and how.

This Professor is one of the worst I have ever had. There is no syllabus and no direction on the material to be covered. Be prepared to talk about 3 to 4 different non-concurrent sections each class as he does not follow the GCC textbook. He also has his own European methods and spends little time to relate or teach US methods.

Mr. Budarin is one of the most respected and literate professor I have ever met! He explains very clearly and always answers ALL questions. The only students that don't like him are those who don't like to study and come to the college just for fun. I am going to take the remaining required math classes only with Professor Budarin.

He's extremely thorough and teaches you the foundation of the subject. There is no memorization in this class, unless it is calculus dependent material. If you study for his lectures before class, study, do your homework, and review the course material at the end of each week, you will do well. Bought my books used, and loaned the library copy.

The hardest class I've ever taken and it's only three units.... extremely hard test... he takes tons of points off for small things. Oh and his exams are all cumulative... he wants you to remember the things from other chapters. It's like taking a final for every exam. I'll give him credit on one thing though- he is hilarious.

He is one of the best professors I've ever had. If you a are serious student who wants to learn he is going to be your best choice. He cares about his subject, and if you disrespect math for him it's like you disrespect him. So be serious, do your homework, ask if you don't understand and you'll learn proper math.

Students! If your tired of not understanding simple math problems take Prof. Budarin. He'll definitely make you work for it, but it's worth it. If you take an easy Prof. You'll regret it when mathematics pops out in another course. WORTH THE TIME! Helping his students is not what he likes to do. All of the homework is online as well as quizzes. He gives a test sometimes once a week, every other week if you are lucky. He lost my final exam and failed me in the class. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!

Best math teacher I have ever had in my life. Revitalized my interest in the subject. Definitely going to continue to pursue more advanced classes because of him. Some may think he is mean, but I think it's just because of the accent. He's actually very funny. He truly gets the material and makes sure you do too.

Although a smart man, Budarin lacks the capabilities of fully teaching the course work to his students and expects them to already know most of it. He treats the class as a review session. Twice a week the class met and it was horrible. Over two hours of math and a strong Russian accent called for a major headache. I'd be aware.

Very hard class. His test are super difficult and he is a tough grader takes tons of points off for stupid little msitakes. He also has a specific teaching method and makes things a lot more complicated than they are.
