not my favorite teacher. He is one of the nicest guys that you will meet and you will want him as your grandpa, but as a teacher he is not super knowledgeable and teaches something brutally wrong.

Comment:

Doc's a great teacher and he's willing to help you out with anything. The labs are a ton of fun and the reports vary from a descriptive lab report to a journal article. Overall, probably one of the best classes I've ever taken.

Doc is the sweetest/most amusing old man ever. He even invited us into his house for snacks during a lab! He's a good professor, definitely know his stuff in and out.. it just gets a little old after a while.

He's a great guy and he knows his stuff, but he's getting too old to teach. It's frustrating when we really don't do much of anything in class ever. Certainly easy and entertaining, but if you want a serious learning experience, stay away.

awesome prof. funny. great lab trips. invited a class of 300 to his house for dinner ~50 a night for a week of labs. has he fixed his microphone yet? you'll learn a lot and have a great time.

Doc is an amazing teacher/mentor. He invites us (his students) over to his house to help decorate his x-mas tree, dinner, games and a slide show. He works your butt off, but in the end you leave his class a skilled person.
