This class was extremely difficult, and the professor was not very good. He is very confusing and speaks in contradictions. It is hard to understand him, and he does not teach well. (He has also been teaching for nearly 50 years.)

Try to avoid him if you can...he doesn't teach. He often confused students more than helping them. The tests have problems from the homework mostly, but the T/F suck. Good at explaining things in office hours, but pretty bad otherwise.

He is incomprehensible during class. If you cannot teach yourself, then do not take this class. You basically teach your self in this, His tests are awful, and the textbook was unclear(though that wasn't a problem with him) The only upside i have to say is that he clarifies things during office hours.

Took Calc II with him--the nicest old man ever pretty much. However, is a bit dry, and his tests are rather difficult (particularly the T/F). If you do take a class with him make sure you go meet with him--he is very patient, and explains things much better than the calculus tutors do.

He reminds me of Mr. Rogers... however, he is rather unclear and often answers a totally different question than the one asked. So be prepared for a lot of out-of-class work, it will be necessary if you want to understand the material. And yes, the T/F section always screws me over! Study the example test questions and it will help so much.
