Not a tough class. Do you work and follow the instructions and you will pass his class. I turned in a late assignment and still received a 90 for my work. Make sure you read your assigned texts. The final quiz was the most challenging.

Learned a lot in his class, participation is mandatory. His feedback brief yet concise. I'd say this was the "easiest" class I've had so far and that's saying a lot. 3 book reviews plus forums.

Comment:

Doctor Sine places a lot of emphasis on participation and critical thinking. If you are willing to take the time to put in good effort, you will be just fine with him. This course was all about writing, you will be often tasked to take a side of an issue and argue for or against, irregardless of your own personal views. Thought provoking, honest!

I loved this class. Dr. Sine is passionate about history and it shows through in his feedback. Only two papers due and a final quiz which is 4 questions (short essays) total. I would take his class again in a heartbeat! Fast grader, too!

I really hate history but hes a really great teacher and the work was easy. Only two assignment papers you can choose to do a PowerPoint on the first one. 250 word discussion, three classmate replies and four follow-up questions. No midterm just final exam of four questions, he graded strict for exam so answer in depth, I didnt and still passed!

Day 1 class was not set up. Lessons missing. Due dates set to May 2016 or November 2017. You have to buy 2 books. Then for the assignments you have to buy 3 more books for book reviews. This isn't 5th grade. Who does book reviews in Grad school?!

8-week course. 2 250 posts/week, 3 responses of 100+ words/week. Lots of reading but its history. And the textbook is decent. 2 small paper/projects to do. Instructor is very responsive and grades very fairly. Final is 4 questions answered essay style, open-book. Would be glad to take again.

Amazing Professor! He is clear with assignments, and you get to choose the format. Participating in the forums is important. He grades assignment very quickly. The course work wasnt difficult. The final is 4 essay questions. Dr. Sine is a really great guy. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Sine is an excellent professor that cares about seeing the student succeed. Unlike many professors I have encountered, Dr. Sine interacted immensely throughout the entire course making it very enjoyable as well as knowledgeable. He also responds quickly to emails and gives good feedback on how to improve. Grading is clear.
