I went through the program, where most of the classes were taught by Ed. He was really awesome to me, once I proved that I had the drive to work really hard. I did see many students get frustrated that they weren't chosen for parts, etc... but that's really the way that it works. Every student in classes had opportunities to work, but extra curricu

I took a number of classes with Ed while at NVCC.He challenges students to be productive artist-citizens.Ed's brilliant artistic mind refused to let NVCC Theatre be viewed as a cut-rate program. All too often, students who had problems with Ed were the ones who had a fear of both work and accountability.

I took many classes with Ed. He is passionate & talented, but plays favorites & is highly manipulative--as a director should be, BUT he takes it waaay beyond the play box. He teaches you to trust & when you do, it's used against you! It's 'The ends justify the means' with him. What a waist of time!!

He doesn't give beginner students a chance to act, he wants everything so perfect that he only chooses students that have a heavy acting background, which isn't fair for those who have never done theater and want to start acting.
