Dr. Gampel was a great professor. I took him for intro. You need to participate in class and get involved by asking questions, he loves that. He notices if you don't show up for class. There was never homework unless there was a test, and he gave us the review sheet of exactly what the test would be on. Take him.

He's a good teacher with a lot to say and it's an easy A. However, he mixes facts with fiction. He made up a lot of things about Jews and it seems as if he dislikes Orthodoxy. But the worse comment I can give him is that he's a psychologist first and then a Jew.

I took him for social Psych and he is the best professor in Touro in my opinion. His tests are deceiving and they really are just based on if you have a solid understanding of the concept. Open-minded. Presents a different perspective on many issues. Has a firm grasp on the concepts. Practices what he preaches.

The reviews calling him inappropriate and hating yiddishkeit are false. He is simply an open minded liberal professor in Touro. Its not such a bad thing - youll have to come into the real world with real issues eventually! I highly recommend him. I learned a lot and enjoyed his banter. The work isnt that hard and he will give you that A+ if you try

He is, all in all, a good professor. He's interesting and you can learn a lot. However, Beware! Before you enter his class brace yourself for an attempt to destroy your faith in the Jewish People and a little apikorsus too. He'll make up statistics.... so don't believe a thing he says.
