Comment:
Edinger is great, but divisive because she makes students work hard and can come across as intimidating (but she's lovely when you get to know her!). Her lectures are admittedly harder to comprehend than many other UBC profs and she's a tough marker, but that's because she cares and appreciates and tries to foster effort and critical thinking.

Comment:
Absolutely horrible. I am skeptical of whether or not the persons who said she was the best prof at UBC actually had Edinger. She has no idea how to teach. She is clearly brilliant and knows conflicts but is one of the least competent teachers I have had thus far. She fails to follow even the most general of teaching basics.

Her exams questions and tough and very "creative". Take her if you're highly interested in constitutional law and is up for a challenge. Otherwise, avoid her like the plague. Can be rude and obnoxious sometimes.

Edinger's Conflicts class isn't easy; however, don't let this deter you from taking what is probably one of the most interesting subjects at UBC Law that is taught by its best professor. Edinger is a truly excellent scholar and will tell you everything you need to know in an amusing and clear way. Highly recommended!

One of my all time favorites! Knows her stuff and explains it well. I found her helpful and entertaining. However, you do need to do the work and know your stuff, she can spot bull**** a mile away.

Prof with an attitude. (I am the prof and you are not). The course material is not hard to understand, but she is a tough marker. She said she failed some students who took the December exam.

Frightening at first but she warmed up as the year went on. She has a great personality and is an encyclopedia of legal knowledge. Her exams are tough and marking can be brutal. Do not rely on a CAN to get you through. The faculty needs more profs like Edinger: tough and smart as a whip. She is an institution at UBC Law.

Edinger is a great teacher. She is definately knows her conflicts. Not always the most modest of profs, but why should she be. Conflicts is a tough subject and she makes it very clear and interesting. I was inspired to take fed with her too. Take conflicts.

Brilliant. One of the best courses I ever took at law school was Conflicts. Tough, demanding, but very fair. Attend classes, do readings, think and you will get a good grade. Do not graduate without taking Conflicts.

Explains everything extremely clearly. Makes otherwise boring subject interesting. Makes students actually *think* about various issues. Very patient, well paced, organized, well-prepared for class, but expects you to follow. Watch out for those killer exams.

She is an extremely nice person! BUT she is in her own words an "EXTREMELY hard marker"!She often has to increase marks in order to make the minimum curve of 70%!Students either did really well or really poorly! This is not an easy class to follo
