I *barely* scraped by. Only expect to do well in this class if you already have some Spanish background, or if you are willing to spend literally 6 hours a week outside of class doing online recorded homework, studying, and putting together group presentations. Not impressed. She gets nicer as the semester progresses, though, at least.

She can be funny but her criticism is FAR from constructive. She speaks down to you and makes you feel stupid. I read the other comments and thought "I can handle her!" No... She was pretty awful. If there is another option... TAKE IT!

SERIOUSLY dont know what everyone else is talking about. Sure, the fist half the class she acts all tough to scare away the people that shouldnt be there but after that becomes a friend and very nice. Sure the class is a lot and sometimes shes not too clear; but its a 5 unit class. 7 tests and lots of other stuff. Deserved a B+ but she gave me an A

Terrible teacher! Arrogant; treats students like they're children. Has no clear lesson plan, changes her mind every five seconds and doesn't listen. Moorpark should get rid of her.

hard teacher to understand. you need prior knowledge of spanish to do well in class. She is horrible at grade keeping. she writes all her grades on a 3x5 card and loses papers constantly. good luck in this class.

This was the greatest class ever. As far as the material goes, it was a lot of work but you walked away with a thurough understanding of the language. The tests were difficult but not impossible. She's a tough grader but it is for your own benefit. I'm sad she isn't teaching MO3 next semester.
