Horrible professor, knows her subject but lacks teaching skills. Dislikes students asking questions and will not help if you ask her a question. She bases her test on class notes, but she hardly gives you any notes or guidance of where to study for her test. Comes to class frustrated and starts picking on students that have their laptops open.

She teaches OK but it's her personality that makes it difficult to learn in her class. She always lectures on life and judges. Almost everyday she tells us we're basically dumb because we don't even know the basics of stats. I will NEVER take her again. 3 exams, quizzes weekly - that's all the assignments.

People who complains about her on this page are the ones who doesn't listen carefully, take notes, or study. If you come to class every time and take notes, you will definitely pass. Her quizzes are similar questions from the textbook with different numbers. Her tests will be extremely hard if you don't study, listen, or ask questions.

Attendance is mandatory because there is a weekly quiz. Quizzes aren't open book or note, but the exams are. You can get used to her accent & her attitude if you're determined to get an A. She is really mean to the students who don't understand stats. I got an A, but I can't say I didn't cry during the final. I literally cried. LOL

This professor seems like she is interested in making students know the subject, BUT she is HORRIBLE at teaching. Another thing, her grading techniques are not good, she wants you to do things HER way. Class grade relies only on Quizzes and Exams. Quizzes are a make it or break it deal 1 Question Quiz! I enjoyed my time with Prof. R. She is a part of a rare breed of profs that care more about how edu can be applied to the real world rather than how it can be force fed, mastered, and forgotten in a matter of a semester. Study with the intent to learn and you will ace this class. She is a fair professor that demands quality work.

She is the Rudest at CSUHD. 60% fail in her class. she through a lot of quizes/ 2 to 3 quizes per day which doe not mean she care about student, because she doest want to teach. her writing skill and accent is horrible.but she expet you write the report on the exam and quizes perfectly,other while she wont give you any point.

She is a very intelligent professor. Unfortunately she lords that over her students. I think that she reads these posts because she will often refer to how much students dislike her and then take on a defensive attitude as if we were all out to get her. When almost every post says the same thing I think there is a legitimate point to be made.

This teacher is by far the worst teacher I've taken @ CSUDH. She will not help you if her office hours don't convene with your class schedule, she prefers doing it by e-mail, how the hell does she expect to explain math procedures over e-mail??? And if you're having difficulty with the subject she will not take appointments to help you.

The majority of the class is struggling excluding those who dropped. I would strongly advise those who are considering this professor to avoid her. Instructions, lecture, and clarity are very poor. Grading is very strict. The class averages for all of the exams/quizzes were less than 69%. How about them stats!

I just got to say I passed with a C.. people say shes hard and has a accent well lets face it this is stats its gonna b hard especially if you dont study.its California every math teacher has an accent!! Very strong understanding of the material. Kind of hard to understand her because of the accent. The material is tough, DO NOT MISS CLASS. Even though attendance isn't mandatory, you'll regret not going. 1 quiz every week, so keep up with the material. I didn't do any homework and still got a B+. Tests are open book, but still very hard.

Razayat is a tough professor. She is hard to understand. Even though attendance is not required you will regret it even if u only show up late. She is not very helpful, i asked her to help me with a question i had and she told me to figure it out myself. Overall this class is hard but i passed so u can too, you just have to study

I just finished this class during the 1st summer session. It was pretty tough!!!! Every class meeting we had a quiz. Her tests were like her quiz questions. You have to take good notes to pass her class. Make sure you copy everything she writes on the board. Her tests and quizes are exactly like the examples used on during lecture. Book required!

I have no idea why these goof balls on here think she is hard. She's a wonderful teacher that knows exactly what she's talking about. When I took her all we did during the course was 3 exams and a mini project. I ended up getting an A in her class and I'll be taking her next semester for OMG 322.
