very good professor, good at teaching consolidations. the material is hard at first so don't blame her in the first couple classes, the homework reflects what she has taught in class and her exams are around 3 questions long. very fair and dense questions. also tells you to watch NCIS on Netflix (not really) and she has a sense of humor.

Comment:

She's a great professor and always available outside class as well. Gives a lot of homework so be prepared but its easy. Doesn't allow iPads/Laptops in class so don't even try. MCQ exams which are easy if you read the textbook.

It was clear that she put a lot of effort into lectures and tried to convey the topic as best as she could. However, the class was boring. She also does not allow laptops or ipads in the class, but it is very hard to follow along with the ppt if you are sitting in one of the back rows. Material for her exams is covered in the textbook.

She makes the subject easy and interesting. The homework is very time consuming BUT completion of homework is crucial in getting an A+ in this class. It really helps. She goes the extra mile to go over examples before and after exams so there is ample opportunity to fully understand the material. She really cares about her students! Will take again

Her class is hard, but she is great! You must read the book BEFORE SHE COVERS THE MATERIAL IN CLASS, participate, go to office hours weekly to review material that you do not understand, and work with a study buddy. She literally said, "I give Fs out like they're candy", but I got an A- by working hard, and you can too! P.S. She is pretty cute!

Very Picky about unaccounting(mechanical) related detail. e.i not remembering to put the description and the reason why your entries are correct could get you a 75, rather than a 85, C or B.

Personally, for the first time a professor made the subject matter easier than the textbook. I have always studied from the text book at Hunter and for this class I relied more on her and less on the book. Excellent teacher but notes on board could use some work. She likes to scratch off old numbers and put in new numbers which can get confusing.

She is an outstanding professor, and speak very clearly and slowly to make you understand questions. There two midterms and one final exam. No extra credit. I failed on the first exam but got almost full score on the 2nd midterm exam and got perfect final score, finally to get an A. Weight on exams 25-30-35, You will learn a lot by taking her.

She is an awesome professor, very clear and knowledgeable about the subject. I messed up on the first exam but scored really high on the other exams and managed to get an A. You will learn a lot by taking her.

I think she's a very fair professor. The topic itself is difficult so you can't blame her for all the failing students but me personally, If I don't understand her in class, I just go to her office hours and she explains everything well. If you want an easy A though don't take her but if you want to learn, Please do.

Attempts to explain things but isn't particularly good at it. Makes abstract topics even more confusing. Notes are often messy, incoherent and just all over the place. Can be nice but also condescending. Exams are rather difficult; She likes to throw curve-balls(ECO471). Overall OK, but I personally had to teach myself

She is a great professor. She explains everything very clearly but you have to do your part and read the book and do online hw because that counts. Extremely helpful and generous during office hours! Make sure to buy the specified version otherwise you'll have a hard time checking your answers.Def do problems in back of textbook and you'll get an A

Tests were not "hard", but she does make up her own questions I believe. Confusing lady. Is actually nice when you get to know her. For this type of class, there is no decent text book out there, so class participation is needed to really understand her. I would NOT take her again if I can avoid it.

She is alright I guess. The only beef I have is with her handwriting. It's illegible 80% of the time, and it doesn't help that she abbreviates everything. She also isn't very clear at times. You can tell she tries her best though

an easy class if you study and read the textbook. homework are assigned every week or every other week. homework is online and you will learn more from doing the homework then going to class. her office hour is extremely helpful. she will go through all the questions with you. 3 tests and they are tricky, read carefully
