Comment:
She's a good professor. Read the textbook chapters before going to class, do all the online homework, study the text and homework assignments and the tests shouldn't be a problem. You'll get an A if you put an average amount of work in since Eco 200 isn't a difficult class. Sevak is also an advisor for the Economics department and seems to care.

Not that hard, just really boring. Just read the powerpoints, and stay on top of the HW. Curves grades. 2 tests, a quiz, and HW factored in. Didn't really seem to care lol, sometimes she just dipped right after class without saying anything, or ended class early.

Went to two or three classes. Doing the online homework is an easy way to help your grade. The tests are super easy multiple choice questions. I studied the powerpoints a few days beforehand and got an A in the class.

Professor Sevak is very clear during her lectures and provides all of the material you will need for the course in her slides. Her exams are on the more difficult side, and there is a midterm and a final. With that being said, she is a great professor and if you pay attention you will do fine. I would recommend taking her.

I never showed to class after the first midterm and basically studied off the Powerpoints. Tests are easy and I passed the class easily. Not too hard.

Her PowerPoints are unclear, and her lectures are super boring where she basically reads off the slides. And you need to study really well for her exams since they can be super tricky.

2 quizzes, 1 midterm, 1 final. Lectures are boring because she reads straight from the powerpoint.

Her PowerPoints are unclear & she didn't care if we had time to copy the board before moving on. My notebook is full of half-finished graphs. All the HW is online, the exams are multiple choice, & there is no extra credit. It seems like teaching is just this thing she does on the side. She didn't learn our names & didn't care if we learned Worst!

Everything is powerpoints she sends you so you dont even need to go to class or read the textbook. She knows the material well and the tests are similar to examples from class and homework. She can be a bit dry at times, but its an econ class. If you need help, shes willing to help. Everything about the material is fair. Take if you want.

i feel i have to say sth abt this prof. seriously, DONT take her. totally ruin your LIFE. make mistakessssssss 10 times out of 10. disorganized materials, reading straight from ppt, never explain anything, always be late for class... if you are planning to take ECO321 next, you'll give that idea up at the end of the semester. trust me.

She only reads directly from power point which illustrated the exact wordings/material from the book without offering alternative explanations. 99% of the time, she failed to understand students' inquiries. The worst part was, she did not understand Statistics at all and made mistakes more often than not. All test questions are multiple choice.

She is nice but doesnt seems to understand students question, she goes too fast on everything, u really have to read the book. Personally i dont like business statistics is boring n hard. Hate the fact that you have to spend $65 for the access code on aleks if u plan not to buy the $119 text book.

Excellent teacher. Explains things well. You must attend class and do well with APLIA to get an A, but it's very doable. A very good teacher especially if you plan on going further in Economics.

Excellent professor, her lectures and powerpoints are extremely** helpful. Her tests are multiple choice and if you study and do well on APLIA you'll do fine! fyi take aplia seriously for it will be reflected on your overall grade. I'm an economics major and DO recommend her, she certainly knows how to prepare her students to a great level.

Clear, organized but boring. By the third week, I was bringing coffee to class. Excellent powerpoint made available on Aplia causes less incentive to attend class, but attendance is recommended. Textbook helpful, Aplia not so helpful and need to pay. Willing to answer questions, but her impatience sometimes shows. Not a difficult class.

Awesome class, but for different reasons. Attendance isnt mandatory at all and the text book and online assingments make you understand the work. You have to do online HW every week and try hard to understand it. In class lectures are mostly boring but if you do go it should still help you out. She is such a nice prof., VERY helpful
