Do the practice homework to study for the quizzes, then read the book. If you don't have the book, you're screwed. Really knows his stuff, don't be afraid to ask about anything. Lets you use cheatsheets on quizzes plus the book on exams, but will make it much harder to compensate. Pick good partner for the report too.

Prof. Teixeira gave us very clear structure and analysis of wireless propagation techniques. He made things easy. However, the quiz is a little weird. You must be very careful with the quiz because he always focused on things that you may omit, though the quiz is not hard. Project is very important. Choose good partners in order to get good grades.

Dr. Teixeira is a great professor. I learned a lot from this class, largely thanks to the fact the Prof. Teixeira was teaching it. I highly recommend anything he teaches.

I took few 800 EM courses with Prof.Teixeira his class normaly is very challanging, he is well orgnized person,helpful direct you to understand more than your concern about the grade, if you do resonable work you will get a good grade, highly recommunded if you taken EM at OSU or working at ESL

Amazing class, really packed a lot of interesting material in. Explains things very well, and is a very nice guy. Homeworks are quite fair and challenging, and his exam problems are like easier homework problems. I learned a lot. I highly recommend taking any class you can with him!

One of the best professors in the ECE department by far. Makes the physics very easy, and the midterm and final were straightforward and based off of the homeworks. Highly recommended.

Hoo boy. This class is a TOUGH one...disregard the easiness. I misclicked. He's a great prof who does what he can to help, but this class is hard. Like, better know all your math and physics extremely well before going into the class, and know your 311/312 intimately. If you invest a lot of time and use Teixeira, you can get through, but it's no walk in the park.
