She's a very nice professor, I have her for my first semester of Intercultural Anthropology. However, I get really tired from homework. Everybody in the class complains about the same thing. We get annoyed of doing a 2 page response essay every single class for homework. It's not hard, but it's a lot of work and it gets frustrating.

Shes definitely NOT the best prof. She makes all her classes read and discuss an article she wrote in like 2004 and loves talking about her experiences. But she is a fair grader, her syllabus is very clear and she sticks to it well. she doesnt review for exams but they arent hard at all.

Genuinely the most wonderful Professor on campus. Our assignments were clear and open to interpretation. Our class was small and we all ended up becoming friendly with each other which is really nice. If I could have Professor Keshishian every semester I would choose her every time. Overall she made public speaking easy and comfortable.

Professor Keshishian can definitely improve a person's public speaking skills. She tries her best to make the environment of the class more friendly so people can be more comfortable in speaking. This is an easy A class too if you attend the classes regularly and do your best.

Professor Keshishian is such a sweetheart. She cares about her students and makes it easy to pass her class with flying colors. It takes minimal effort to put together a good speech, and she guides you throughout the semester with ways to improve your speaking. You will need the textbook. She grades on 7 speeches and 2 tests, all of which are easy.

you can be a great public speaker but this woman will judge you on any little thing she doesnt like she once told a girl to fix how she dresses... i wouldnt take again she never reviewed for the midterm and final and she expected the class to know everything.

Shes a really nice woman & cares for the students success. However, she is a brutal grader and doesnt hold back on deducting points for anything. Her midterm/final was pretty hard since she just tells you the chapters and doesnt do any kind of review. Her feedback is nice but she doesnt allow any way to boost your grade. I wouldnt take again..

She does expect a little more than average for a speech class, but with that said an A is still easily obtainable. Just prepare for your speeches a LOT because she is a tough grader with speeches. 30% of your grade is the midterm and final combined, which is usually just common sense. Also she's very vocal about her political stance. Not bad overal

she is a nice professor and is caring. BUT. she made public speaking a chore than an actual learning experience. her syllabus is difficult too, because if you dont get full points on speeches (she always takes off points) it detrimental to your grade. she gets really political and WILL ALWAYS state her opinion on things. i wouldnt take again..

Amazing professor! She is so intelligent and passionate about what she teaches. Her life story is incredible and she only wants you to succeed. Very easy to talk to so don't be afraid to participate and ask questions. She very much encourages that. You have to put in an effort though. Easy A if you do your part and stay engaged.

The nicest woman you will ever meet. Her speech topics are somewhat basic and doesn't make you write long outlines for the speech. The more you are engaged during lectures, the easier she is on grading you for speeches.

She has to be the best professor I have ever taken at SJU. She's super passionate about what she does and has had an interesting life. As far as class goes, participation is key. Midterm and Final are fairly simple. Not very much homework. Speeches are nice topics and not too close together. She doesn't all phones or leaving class so pee before.

Great lady and at first I loved the class! However when it comes to this prof, if you have a different idea politically than her she will panic and go off on a tangent. Her class is great if you could look past that, but I would not take this class again because in public speaking I believe its okay to disagree but she does not.

Originally, I loved this class because it was easy/straightforward. She seems nice, but isn't understanding. I won't disclose my specific issue with her (for the sake of anonymity) but I got a lower grade than I should have on a major assignment bc of it . Also, I happen to agree with her politically, but if you don't,you may get annoyed in class.

Professor Keshishian is amazing. There's not much homework, you are required to buy a book but its basically common sense about public speaking. She makes the speeches be very easy since the topics are very interesting. Easy A if you show up to class and participate during comments about people's speeches.
