Attendance is mandatory, takes forever to grade papers. The whole semester she only graded one assignment. I didn't know my grade until final grades were posted. Her lectures are long and boring. Doesn't specify what she wants. Rude when you ask questions.

Dr. Rhodes overemphasizes on learning linguistics, but its unnecessary information for the class itself. You won't know your grade until the end of the class. She falls asleep during videos/presentations. She is unclear on her assignments. Bad at responding to emails. She's funny, but that's about it.

Dr. Rhodes is a nice lady, she is willing help students who need extra credit. However, the grading period is way too long. You end up finding if you pass or not after final grades are posted. Her lectures usually revolve around powerpoints that sometimes don't mention what is in the book. But she is willing to work with you if you put effort

The professor is very devoted to her class and you can also tell that she cares about her students. She is a great English professor because she will do her best to help you out. As long as you follow the instructions, you should do good in class. I am very grateful for having the opportunity to be part of her classroom.

You must attend class,there are quizzes at least once a week. Read the chapters for the quizzes, or you will fail quizzes. Quizzes are high percentage of grade. If you strugl on quizzes, make sure you do any extra credit available. Make sure you do not procrastinate on your book readings.

Great professor and a great class, but don't procrastinate. It is hard to catch up with the readings last minute. In fact, she gives bonus points for turning in work early. Ask a lot of questions, make sure you understand the way she wants the assignments done because she is very particular. The textbook is required, expect chapter quizzes often.

Dr. Rhodes is a wonderful person and professor. She makes class interesting and fun. Her work usually consists more project types and as long as you do them and put effort into it, you'll receive a good grade. I have taken three classes with her & got As in each. The work is easy but there's a lot so just stay on top of everything & you'll be fine!

This wonderful woman/proffessor, is an inspiration to me...I learned alot of things about myself though her class(YOUNG ADULT LITERATURE), and she inspired me to be the best that I can be! Thank You, Dr. Rhodes. Myrna R.

Dr. Rhodes' class is easy if you follow directions and instructions. Her classes are wonderful for those who plan to go into the teaching field. Her ideas are extremly ingenious and perfectly designed for want to be teachers.

Too easy (The class was boring & exasperating). A topic that should have ideas and interpretative frames was taught without a single idea. Rhodes is better suited to elementary or secondary teaching, not college level material.
