Comment:

Extremely nice and passionate guy who loves his subject. He is sometimes too much in love with it and all over the place which can be hard to follow, but overall, this class wasn't so bad. All the notes were online and able to print but you still must go to class because he likes to test you on little things that he says in class, but does curve.

He is the best professor ever. He has a great teacher heart. His lecture is interesting and his grading is really reasonable. He tries to make students feel good with the subject and help them to pass this course with a good grade. He is so helpful and inspirational professor.

This should have been an easy A for me but I missed the second day of class. His lecture style is very easy to digest. Grading is generous â€" one quiz grade is dropped â€" but you should plan on attending all classes. Keep past in-class assignments and quiz questions. They will reappear on successive tests.

I read the book and it helped me a lot. He also posts lectures online which is helpful. For the final, look over the previous exams and there will be some of the same questions, word for word. Overall, generally easy class and I actually found some of the stuff interesting.

This class wasn't too bad. Although prof. Gomez isn't really that helpful, everything is pretty organized on blackboard making it easy to keep up on things. I studied about 2 hours for each test and about 8 hours for the final and got a B. Take that for what you will.

Worst teacher ever. Absolutely horrible class. Doesn't care about the well being of his students and doesnt give them the time of day when approaching for help. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!! EVER!!!

Not disorganized, quite the opposite. Each lecture is carefully structured and intended to illuminate the reading, not be a mere substitute for it. Quizzes really help to prepare for exams, though they are not easy. Grades on a curve. Responds to emails quickly and is available outside of class. Easy on the eyes.

Geol 2400 - Seemed unorganized. Lecture outlines didn't match slides and neither matched lecture. Had problems with equations. Homework was sometimes long and too hard, others too easy. Very nice and friendly and helpful outside of class.

He was a little tough, and the tests weren't the easiest. In comparison to a lot of classes though. It was pretty straight forward. All of the notes were on powerpoint and easy to copy. Overall, I think the class was fairly easy. I'd take it again or choose him in future instances.

Paco is very clear in his teaching of the concept and principles. His quizzes are kind of difficult, but he puts practice quizzes on-line that help out a lot. Tests are difficult and require a lot of "reading in between the lines." The lab is

Prof. Gomez is really, really great about explaining things and actually taking time to help his students. His tests were a little hard, but he was really fair. I'd definitely take his class again.
