He is a fun guy. . Attendance is mandatory, there is no wiggle room, and if you are late you are absent. Perkins rarely taught us anything and expected us to make great films. Often times he would teach us something after a project was already due. He is an extremely critical professor who never has a positive comment. Buy a film book instead!

Mr. Perkins is one of best professors I have had here at Indiana State University! He actually pushes you to do your best in the class. Some think his classes are hard because he is "picky" about the work, he is just preparing us for when we go out into the real world! Mr. Perkins if you are reading this, thanks for being such a wonderful teacher!

There's a fine line between his good side and his bad side, but it's really easy to stay on his good side as long as he sees you making an effort to get your stuff done. He has high standards and he can be a little edgy about things, but that's because people in the real world are like that. He's just trying to get you prepared.

Mr. Perkins was one of the professors who actually pushed my to try hard. He had high standards, and I actually wanted to attempt to reach and surpass them. Even ended up doing my senior independent study (student film) with him as the teacher/grader.

Very hard, but you learn alot and take alot from his class. He is basically the only good prof I have had in Radio/tv/film. The rest are lazy and unhelpful, and hard to relate to

Sure, he's difficult and particular, but most kids need that to actually learn anything. Like being on time, is it really that hard? If you want help, ask, he is not going to spoon feed you. He has always been there for me, if he can, I just ask!

Class was very hard, but he definately knows his stuff...there is a thin line w/ him though, he can joke around all he wants, but you have to watch how much you joke around w/ him. just don't be late to class!

This guy was my advisor for Radio-TV-Film major, I basically switched majors because this guy was such an ****. He's no help at all and will make you feel stupid for even asking a simple question. He also likes to preach a lot. Blah!
