Attendance is MANDATORY. You have to go to class. There were two group presentations and one solo presentation. A reading quiz once (sometimes twice) a week. You have to do the reading, to be honest. The book was a REALLY easy read, though.

He was calm and never made us feel anxious. Always quick with a smile, never got mad and really down to earth. Quizzes on the reading, but they're short and not too tricky. Just make sure you don't have straight up clowns in your presentation groups and you're good!

I was terrified to take a presentations class but Tavares totally eased that fear. He made the presentations worry free and fun. I would recommend the class to anyone who need to fulfill their tech fluency requirement or anyone looking for a fun class to take.

Frank ran a tight class, quiz started on time every single class. Always do your reading, never skip. Show up to class on time and try your hardest. Frank is fair, knowledgeable and an execellent professor! Enjoyed this class because although it was challenging it was great.

This is definitely one of the best classes I've taken-it should be mandatory! Frank is the perfect person to teach it-he's so knowledgeable and has so much experience. As long as you do the work you'll do fine. He is very animated and makes class fun.

frank is the best professor i have ever had! who ever left the comment about him being a bad advisor must have caught him on a bad day because he is very helpful and one of the best professors at southern..everyone should take a class with him if they really want to learn something. Its not easy but you will come out knowing A LOT!

Great class to take for an "L" class, because the papers to write are all opinion based. Best "teacher" i've ever had. He really makes sure you know what he teaches. I dont get the best grades in his class, but he's still my favorite...that should tell you something.

Dr. T is probably one of the best professors i've had here at southern. He gives weekly quizzes on the readings, but the readings are one or two short chapters, and he gives you the questions. also, i dislike reading, and the book was good. it's a presentations class so you work with the same people over and over again. Over all, TAKE HIM!!!

Dr. T is a great teacher. He is a very difficult person to read. The reading quizes are a pain in the ass but do the readings and you will be fine. We watched alot of movie clips. Make sure you are familar with how to use a Mac, or this class will be much harder for you. You get to work on assignments during class, dont waste your time utulize it.

Dr. T is a great teacher if you want to learn. I struggled at first with him but I learned a lot more than I expected. He gives a good amount of work but if you want to know your stuff this is the person. Very good guy, enjoyable.
