Solid choice for REL103. Passionate about religion but can get distracted easily. Homework easy short answer question due for before each class (takes 5 min max). If you go to class & listen to the lectures you'll get an A. Tests are short answer but he provides a study guide with exact test questions. Can write notes in bible and use during test

Comment:

Dr. Branick is extremely passionate about religion. He has devoted his entire life to the study of religion, and it shows in his class. He is easily distracted and loses his train of thought often. Tests are over objective material. He assigns homework often, but the homework is easy, and a nice point buff.

I liked Branick as a person, but not as a teacher. He assumes you already have an understanding of Catholicism, and that everyone is a religion major. Tests are entirely short answer questions that ask about things briefly mentioned once in class and assignments for every class. I definitely learned some things but do not recommend for a good grade

Very conflicted with Branick. He's very passionate about what he teaches, laughs at own jokes a lot, but tests are a nightmare. Short homework assignment for every class. If you don't highlight every single thing he says in your bible you will fail this class. Interesting lectures, but take another teacher if you want a good grade.

Craziest old guy around but so knowledgable. Loves what he teaches & is so passionate. If you're looking for an easy religion class I wouldn't recommend. If you want a teacher who truly cares about your success, I would take him. He gives study guides before all 3 tests & if you know these you'll do fine. He really cares about his students.

I love him!!! he is my favorite professor I've taken. If you take notes in your Bible, you can use it on the tests. VERY easy A.

Everyone talks about how awesome he is but he's not that great. His tests are actually difficult and he has a VERY dry lecture which makes paying attention hard. I would definitely not recommend him. Class isn't mandatory but GO or you'll get a low class participation grade.

CRAZY GUY. But awesome. He makes new testament reading COME TO LIFE!!! haha, but seriously, great teacher, explains stuff well and will help you out in any way possible if you are struggling. take him if you can!

I like the cases that he made us read about business ethics. Some of the debates over the cases were interesting. He likes to yell alot in class. When he yells he spits. I sat in the front row and got spit on. All his shirts are pitted out from sweat. Sit in the back and class will be more tolerable.

Amazing teacher! Makes the class interesting, but very challenging.
