This was the easiest class ever. If you read the PowerPoint you will know how to do the homework, tests, and finals. Not much homework but it is so easy. Just do your homework and do well on tests and you will pass this class.

He is one of the best professors that I have ever worked with. I have taken him for many of my business courses dealing with Accounting and Statistics. He explains business concepts clearly and with a lot of real world examples. All quizzes and assignments are open book and you can work with everyone, he encourages collaboration. One of the best.

Comment:

Mr. Maihofer is one of the best instructors I ever had. It was really amazing as he explained every single detail through the PowerPoints he had each lesson. He uses the book only for the problems but not the concepts because he teaches differently from the textbook. Get ready to use lots of Excel in this course. Good luck!

Great instructor. Thoroughly reviewed all lessons and gave real life examples of what we were learning which gave it more relativity. I would suggest him for accounting. Uses excel for lessons which is great considering excel is one of the programs used for accounting.

I have heard of many difficult ACC teachers,that's not the case with Maihofer. I would really recommend him. He has alot of experience in his field and loves sharing his stories. The class is also very easy(coming from a non ACC major)and every test is done with your group!You get homework but is all done in class as well. I highly recommend him!

Took all three accounting classes ACC 111, 230, 240 in one semester! his classes are a month long and start after each one ends. Highly recommend taking all three together!! Maihoffer makes it so easy for you, I passed all three accounting classes with an A. Make sure you work together as a class and split up the work its the easiest way to pass :)

This is one of the best instructors I've had in my college experience thus far. Very helpful and he has the experience so it make class a real learning space. He's all about making learning as simple and convenient as possible but still giving you the option to learn the hard way if that's your style. Strongly recommended!
