Best English professor. Yes you do a couple of essays (3-4) through out the semester, but they are easy to do and you get to pick the topic! Also a couple of other assignments but they are easy to do. Hes really nice, and funny. I 100% recommend his class. I always hated English class but his class was so entertaining!!! Great teacher really.

Professor Ball is an amazing teacher! Make sure to take his advice when he hands you back your assignments, it helps a lot. He's really funny and I don't recall ever having a dull moment in his class. A plus is that there's no textbook you need to buy! Definitely would recommend him.

Same as everyone in terms of difficulty of the class (i.e. it's easy!) He will also give you feedback for those who want to know if they did well or so as well his grading criteria couldn't be more simple: READ THE PAGES he wants you to read from the main books and do the discussion boards. There's not much reading compared to other ENGL profs IMO

I love professor Ball's class it's so much fun! He's hilarious and always shows us memes or funny videos to make the lectures more interesting. Only 3 papers which are easy and he always gives out good grades, and some homework and error logs but very easy work. I would retake his class if I could!

i would recommend his professor, his work is not super hard but you will have to work for it. he makes the class fun but still you will learn a lot! he offers great office hours, he works well with you if you communicate a head of time about missing class, over all wonderful person and professor.

Like any other English class spect to do essay which is fine just Mr. Ball he is very pici on the grammar or any other typewriting. If you do work and show up for the class, he will give you credit for it. if the professor sees that you are putting effort he will respond the same way. Is not a easy A but easy B.

Professor Ball is honestly the best teacher at Southwestern! This class was super easy, just do good on the précis and the discussion boards & you will pass! He is really laid back and a real nice guy! Take him, you will not regret it. I totally recommend him to other people.

Easy class! I took this course online. There is 5 essay total & the rest of the assignments are discussions.. Super easy!. You will need the book for some of the discussions. Since this class is not in an actual classroom, he would post plenty of videos of him explaining exactly what he wants from us which was very helpful!

Professor Ball's lectures are so funny! I can't say that there was ever a dull moment while taking his class. He tells you exactly what he expects on the essays which is very helpful. With grading, he can be nitpicky, but it really won't bring you down a lot. I'm not a fan of English, he makes the class a breeze so I recommend him!!

Professor Ball goes out of his way to make the prompts come alive by relating it to technology, pop culture, and the like. This English professor truly cares about his students and wants to see you succeed (but don't forget to include your share of hard work). In sum, if a third-time English 114 repeater can pass the class with an A+, so can you!

Professor Ball was my first college English professor. He was such a good professor I enjoyed going to English! Every day the talk was something new and exciting. The environment was fun to be in. It's pretty easy and simple class. Just do the work he assigns and answer the prompt for the essays and I'm sure you'll do fine.
