2 weeks in we already had a test over items we barely talked about. She expects you to understand everything she says.

Horrible Teacher! Reading her lecture notes did not make sense nor does it help you to understand the subject. She expected you to already know the information otherwise you had to figure it out on your own. The little that I learned I taught myself, so if she actually teach the class your grade would be a lot higher than when you teach yourself

Online class. It took me forever to understand how she wants us to use blackboard for the class. Even after figuring it out, every time i go to do homework, i feel like part of the homework is to find out what the homework is. There's no schedule either... Just tell students what is due, and we'll do it. Dont make us read endless, pointless setup

Worst online professor ever. She gives horrible notes, gives difficult quizzes every week that she takes way too long to grade, and takes forever to respond to emails. She is not very understanding of students. If your answer is not exactly what she wants, it's completely wrong. Don't take class with this professor!!!

I do not think she is a very good teacher and she definitely does not know how to explain things to students. She tries to "teach" in her slide shows by using questions and tells us to "think about it" in notes that are supposed to help us. I feel that she is unfair at grading when it comes to opinionated questions as well. Awful.

Absolutely terrible. Don't even bother asking her for help, she won't even do what teachers are supposed to do.... HELP STUDENTS. Do yourself a favor and don't take this class unless you like a teacher that doesn't do their job, and maybe you will know what to do in the class. Might as well have a dog to teach the class, might get better help...

I will never take Professor Hafer again. She seemed very judgmental towards certain students and always had a bad attitude. The only way to get points was on tests. She did not teach material well- I felt like I taught myself everything. Oh, and she never posts on blackboard & I felt like I could never ask questions without getting a dirty look.

I cant recommend her to anyone. Multiple times I asked her to explain things and she constantly said to read to book or, read the syllabus only to find out the answers aren't in the syllabus or book. Her lectures make very little sense. Worst of all she expects you to know every thing about the subject before coming to class. I recommend avoiding.

She is very kind outside of class, but she's too smart to teach. She expects you to pick up on everything instantly and her tests are way too hard. She rushes through things and much of your class time is wasted sitting in groups doing nothing... I've heard she is pretty bad for stats too. This is coming from a student with all A's and a 31 ACT..

Terrible class. I hates statistic because of her. When we asked her how to solve the MyStat problem, she just answered that we had to find the way to do it although she never taught it in class before. The final project is so stressful with vague instructions.

Four weeks in and we're still talking about simple graphs... and then gives homework about stuff way more advanced than anything we talked about in class... gonna have to buy the book so I understand what's going on. started a project two weeks ago and haven't touched it again and who knows when we will.

She is the worst teacher I have ever had. She did not like me for some reason starting day one and has made every day after that awful for me. She will flat out ignore your questions or role her eyes when you ask anything. She expects you to be a genius in stats before you walk through the door and makes you feel stupid. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!

Dr. Hafer is definitely not for the faint of heart--she does require a lot of work; however, an A is not unattainable, you just have to put forth a little effort. Exam weeks were usually intense, complete with an essay to write, online quiz, & studying for the exam itself. Hang in there; you'll learn a lot & if you prepare well, exams are fair.

NEVER TAKE THIS CLASS. You can only see your grade if you turn in a mandatory paper at the beginning of each test. She will then give an "average" of what you grade is. Tests are worth 100 pts but beware because there will be an online quiz she won't tell you about worth 150 pts. She won't average this into your grade until finals. May God help you

Seemed very negative the first day, but was fine every day after. Puts anecdotes into the lectures to make them relevant. Seems to understand the concepts can be confusing so makes the tests pretty easy. A few short papers and three tests. Read the chapters before the test and passing this class is easy.

While I liked Prof. Hafer personally, I was extremely disappointed by her Stats course. She spent the vast majority of the course teaching us how to obtain a good sample group for statistical analysis rather than teaching us about actual statistics. I'm a math nerd and I was really looking forward to this class, but I really disliked it.

Assumes that you're an stat major or something comming into the class, grades assignments with ridiculous standards, assigns LOADS of work which she will then grade ridiculously, and the tests seem to be designed to make you fail, unclear, incredibly similar multiple choice answers with subtleties to throw you off. hated this class.
