Best class I have ever taken. I learned so much about model building and the flexible nature of the model which let's tackle a variety of questions. Most importantly, I learned to conceptualize the material at a deeper level and not just by definition. Overall, Dr. Matt is very patient and helps you get through this tough course.

This class is brutal in terms of material, but the professor will be there for you every step of the way. He gives amazing lectures, and he will be there for you if you take advantage of his presence. However, if you just sit there in class, don't do the material, and don't ask for help, you won't pass.

Georg may not always explain things in the most helpful but once you learn how to decode his lectures, you will find his class to be very interesting and useful. He is also willing to host extra tutoring sessions which I highly recommend attending. He is a very kind, caring person who wants you to succeed.

In my opinion, Yörg is the superman in psychology department. I am not saying that PSY770 is easy. The main point is he is super-nice and super-patient. If you have any questions you can always go to him before or after class. And we used to have a lot of review session with him. Yörg is the department chair but he still made time for us. LOVE HIM!

I never saw Dr. Matt once. All his T.A.'s teach his classes. So hopefully you will get a good one. Treat this class as a 3 credit course because there are a lot of tedious projects that are due each week. I had a 2 hour break between this class and another class and it was helpful to finish the projects. I would recommend doing the same.

I never actually met Dr. Matt, but his TA Peter was very nice and helpful! I got an A without really trying too much. The final is very simple and the last project was easier than I thought it would be.

He is an extremely difficult professor. He is a meticulous grader, making it nearly impossible to get an A. I studied hard, did extra credit and still got a C. Also has a thick German accent. Avoid him.
