Comment:

Easily one of the best professors I've had in college. Dr. Reed is really caring towards her students. She wants you to learn and pass! Her testing styles can get tricky, but it's easy if you read the lecture notes that she posts. The final is cumulative so I suggest going to her to look over past exams in the semester. It'll be a huge help.

Comment:

I took her online developmental psych class and her in-person educational psych class. As a non-psych major with only an AP psych class behind me, I found the class to be manageable. Her test format is a bit strange (all of the following true EXCEPT) but she drops the lowest grade so you have a chance to get used to it. Sweet lady, Ill miss her!

Comment:

I took Professor Reed's Dev Psych 2100 class and I learned much more than just a credit. I would highly suggest this class if you are from a dysfunctional family, and parenthood scares you. I will keep her test notes long after this class, for real-life learning. The tests are open book and you will learn more than you expect to! Take her class!

Dr. Reed is a fantastic professor! There was 4 exams, all open book, and always gave you an extra day to complete them if needed. I highly recommend her!

She is a really nice professor. Her lectures are really interesting. She gives lots of chances to boost up your grade. I took the online course and there were 10 homework assignments and four tests( open- note). I would definitely take this professor again.

looooove her lectures, but she only asks you to show up every once in a while to sign in. she puts all of her lectures online with great detail, study for all the tests (3 or 4 i cant remember) and you will be fine, and she cuts your lowest grade. such a sweet and hilarious lady loved her class. very inspirational + gives you baby fever

I have nothing but nice things about Dr. Reed. Her lectures are very well structured. There are no powerpoint slides so pay close attention in class. If you miss something during the lecture, don't stress she posts the her notes online once the lecture block is over. Absolutely amazing

Prof. Gilda Reed is a GEM! I absolutely love taking her class. She lectures for the whole class, but all her lectures are super interesting. She always has a personal story to go with each topic. Her tests are all the same, 3 statements true and one false. Show up for class, listen to her lectures and you'll do fine! It is impossible to fail.

I have taken this professor for two classes and absolutely loved it! She gives us the notes from the lecture and if you study them for your tests you will definitely make an A! She does not give unnecessary busy work, yet you still learn what you need to know. You can clearly tell that she cares about the success of her students.

If you have the chance, take this teacher! I have tried to get one of her classes every semester, she is funny and intelligent so the lectures are interesting and entertaining. You have to know the notes to pass but that's it, it's so easy. I take notes and pass every test with an A. She doesn't require a textbook, her class is nothing but lectures

Dr. Reed is a wonderful teacher! Her lectures do contain a lot of info, but she puts her exact notes on moodle and gives you a test review with the what will be on the test. Her tests are in the format of "which of the following are false," which makes it easy to use the process of elimination. Textbook optional.

I took this online to get a social science credit. She gives great YouTube lectures with easy quizzes. This class is absolutely an easy A if you listen to videos carefully and answer the questions she assigns.

Inspirational, funny, well-respected professor. Her lectures are meticulously planned, and she sticks to her guns pretty heavily on them; with good reason, they work. Learn to write fast or bring a laptop to type, things can move quickly.

Although I am not a big fan of her test method of using true/false, I feel that her teaching method is amazing. A lot of the material on understanding and her test are straightforward from the notes she lets you look at.
