Comment:
There were two blue book exams, one long research paper (10 pages) and four film diaries that he graded pretty harshly. The lectures were really boring and hard to follow but the movies we watched were great. Prof. Bertellini just needed to find a better way to present the material rather than just talking without powerpoint.

A truly grst professor. He loves the material he teaches and knows every inside and out of Italian-American film. He grades the writing assignments tough, but once you gain an appreciation for some of movies it doesnt really matter.

He's a bit abstract, apparently the go-to guy when you're talking about Italian film, he kinda resembles a bank robber with the all-black attire and the knit cap

Very intelligent and knowledgeable, but needs more experience teaching this specific class. It was literally impossible to do all the readings, but otherwise the assignments and screenings were well-chosen.
