He's like my grandpa. Such a nice teacher, always there for you when you need him, talk to him about class or anything going on in your life. He doesn't look at you and sees a student, he sees potential and will do anything to get you to become it.

Glen is a wonderful professor! He wants you to not only know the material but be able to teach it. You can do the homework and then email him saying you did it. Up to you on how you perceive that. Take home tests as long as you do not work together on them. Final was hard. Group quizzes are nice.

Comment:

Really great guy overall, cares a lot about his students. He has a high rating for a reason, he is a great teacher! Don't buy the physical book since he has you buy Webassign for the class. Don't wait to do hw or you'll fall behind, he will help any questions you have in or out of class time! I definitely recommend taking classes with Glen.

He is a super nice and caring guy, he wants his students to do well. I've always struggled with math and as awesome of a teacher Glen is, I still didn't understand some of the material. I went to class everyday except for a day or 2 when my husband got really sick. So attend class and just stick to it and do the best you can even if you struggle.

AWWWWESOME!!! I heard a proctor in school say that someone else said that there are two different kinds of math teachers: mathematicians and teachers. And Glen is a teacher.

Great guy. kinda intimidating at first, but he's a big teddy bear once you spend a few days in his class. very clear and helpful if you aren't getting the material. Usually in his office if he isn't in class!
