One of the best professors I had in kbcc! Really caring and wont go on until you understand the material. Professor Pollack wants to see you pass and make sure you know all about the Hebrew language. Take her you wont regret it, shes also really funny

only take this class if u already know HEB & looking 4 an easy A. in which case, don't show off ur already developed skills b/c she WILL kick you out. just pretend like u don't know anything but doing well b/c u study. just go in, be quiet, do ur homework and ull get out fine. she is only mean to the ppl who show off that they know HEB coming in.

I had a 3.99 GPA until this class. Half of the class are fluent Jews looking for an easy A, so if you don't know hebrew already, you are screwed, because she teaches it as though you are fluent. THIS IS NOT A BEGINNERS CLASS AT ALL!!!! DO NOT TAKE!!!!

WORST TEACHER!! Shes always like 10-15 mins late everyday. She moves quick to make up the time lost, which makes me lost. Only native speakers do well everyone else will fail. She treats the class like elementary school kids. Shes very very bad DO NO TAKE!!

If you know Hebrew (Yeshiva level or higher) you should do well. Very hard for complete beginners. Doing HW is a must. She is absent a lot and is always late. She moves fast to make up for her absences. Overall, only take her if you have a good foundation in Hebrew. For the Hebrew speaker, it's an easy A.

Unless you have had previous knowledge of hebrew I do not recommend taking her class. Noone except people who spoke fluent hebrew passed her class.Teaching skills are crap and she came in over 10 mins late everyday and had been absent 11 times. Do not,I repeat,do not take this class unless you are desperate and have the patience of a saint.

I had no previous knowledge of reading, writing or speaking hebrew but Professor Pollack definitely changed that. She is very good, and easy to approach with questions. She does discipline but I can understand when people are interupting the lesson. If you study, are a mature student and pay attention you will do good.

I absolutely love this professor ..Iam not jewish n do not have any israeli background.....Everyone hates her and says she is hard but if you actually study the book she puts all the questions from the book on the test...You must buy the book inorder to pass ...dont piss her off or she will take you out the class....I got a A- in the class

I told her if u see that majority of your class is failing then MAYBE you should do something...and her responce to all of us was to drop out..she doesnt care she got our money, and it dont phase her if u tell her shes going too fast.
