Very nice lady who is passionate about her work. Very easy grader, assignments are short and simple. Other assignments you have the whole semester to complete, and she gives you the test questions beforehand which are based on the lectures and outside readings. There are a ton of readings, however, but they're all interesting.

Comment:
Very clear grading criteria and very few assignments, which you had a good amount of time to complete. She is very passionate about what she teaches and that shows in her lectures.

I had her for a first year Honors program elective. She is very enthusiastic about the material and very responsive and helpful if you reach out to her. Although her accent can be hard to understand sometimes, her powerpoints and documents are thorough and should be used to complete assignments. She is a fair grader and doesn't give too much work.

I was very excited about working with this professor. Unfortunately, she disappointed me when she suggested that I would drop out of school to attend to my career. She's a feminist. I would NEVER tell a woman to quit school to attend to her family. It's a bit hypocritical. Don't work with this professor at the graduate level.

this class was pretty good, and as long as you do the work and study for the 1 or 2 in class assignments you'll be golden. i don't agree with the comments that say she is 'too into it,' she knows her subject very well but isn't crazy. she's helpful and kind, and once warned me not to give out too much info on facebook. her accent is not hard at all
