Definitely not an easy A. You have to do a lot of studying if you haven't taken anatomy before because her exams are very hard. I was expecting a yoga class, not having to label the bones and muscles and having to know the structure and function of every aspect of the body. It's doable, but definitely not easy.

I took this class thinking it was going to relaxing and enjoyable, sadly it was not. It was god awful. She always gave us so much work and it was tough, she made us memorize the anatomy of the body, everything. Attendance was MANDATORY!!!! She will take off points if you miss one class. I left more stressed everyday then before I walked into class.

This class is fantastic. She expects you to try, and that is literally it. Don't think you can fool her, though, she knows when you're trying and when you're not. Love that it shakes up my day, loosens me up, and lets me have fun! She's super laid back and always has great suggestions. TAKE HER.

I love Gretchen! I have had her for two classes and know her pretty well in the department of theatre and dance. She is extremely helpful, sweet, kind, understanding, and a really good resource. Definitely my favorite dance professor at West Chester!

I didn't enjoy yoga so this class wasn't too fun for me but I enjoyed it and it was easy but I skipped too much which plummeted my grade. Very nice and helpful and really enjoyed her as a teacher, I just wish I showed up more because she is very attendance heavy.

She was nice, but her course work she was tough. She does a lot of yoga warm ups and expects everyone to be able to do it. Her projects were fun but she took a while to grade stuff and attendance was EXREMELY MANDATORY. She took a lot of points off if you missed class.

Well i do not care for ballet so much, but she did make it fun. It really did challenge me and felt that i learned a lot. She does grade kinda hard on performance, which was frustrating but overall she is a really nice lady.

I loved this class. I had no idea what to expect, but she incorporated dance, yoga and pilates. I always felt great leaving this class and she was so helpful and sweet to EVERYONE...whether you were a dancer or not. FUN teacher.

She's a good teacher, and certainly knows her technique very well. The only problem I had is that she really favors the girls in the modern dance company over any other students. If you are not in the company, don't expect to get any corrections.

VERY NICE LADY-- the sweetest person ever. Makes you feel completely comfortable in the class. If you are nervous about taking dance classes, take Gretchen's class- NOT a waste of time, you'll learn a lot from her.
