Such a darling; sweet and cute. She's very enthusiastic about Classics, and really tries to get you interested, too. Difficult, but worth the time. Make sure you do all the assigned readings, because her tests and quizzes are difficult without them. Midterm and final hard, but not bad if you study.

Comment:

Nicest woman ever! Shes so adorable. Took her for greek history. We had study guides for each class period and she lectured and answered all the questions so you dont actually have to read. All quizzes and tests are off questions based on the study guides. A couple quizzes, a midterm, a final, a group presentation, and one small "project" make up your grade. Classes are interesting. The only bad thing is that her midterm and final are all short answer but if you know the study guides its simple.

She's nerdy, but she's also very knowledgeable. I learned some cool things, but for an HP 101 class I worked my butt off and still didn't ace the class! In fact, out of the classmates I spoke to, no one did!

Dr Compton-Engle is the nicest person ever. I took her for CL 320- thats Ancient Roman History. She made it interesting and exciting. I would love to take another class from her.

Was a tough class, she will try to help you out, but if you don't know what you are doing, you will appear pretty stupid. Her tests are tough, but she is very nice and always brings you brownies or cookies to have on test day.

Dr. Gwen is the single best language teacher I've had (and I've had a dozen in my years of language study). She makes an otherwise difficult language fun and manageable. She obviously loves what she does, and she cares about students.
