Best teacher I have had at JCU. Have too many great things to say about him. Highly recommend taking his course and pay attention to what he says he really knows his information.

Bob seems to be pretty smart but in regards to class material he was very oblivious and scattered. Just like never made any sense, so many typos and very unclear with material and grading. HUGE assignments that took hours and hours but were barely worth any points. he knows what he is talking about i think, just doesnt know how to teach it properly

Very good resource and knows his stuff/ has connections. The class makes you go outside of your comfort zone (informational interview, etc...) He stresses that there should be no typos, but his powerpoints are filled with typos. Sometimes hard to follow the notes as he goes through slides very fast. It was a good class and I would take him again

Tests are very straightforward. Take this class if you are interested in sales at all (does not have to be media sales). He can get you a job in media sales by the end of the class if you really want it and work with him for it. Someone in my class did. He is very knowledgable, but is sadly not a great teacher. He also has out-of-date material.

Really enthusiastic about what he teaches. Easy to approach if you're having trouble, and he's super helpful. Had him for screenwriting. He can be brutally honest at times, but only makes you a better writer. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Liking this class will depend on your learning style. If you do well in a lecture class, you will do fine. Noll has a lot of knowledge, and invites tons of great speakers. Personally, with the exception of the guests, I hated this class and found it very boring. However, its easy enough to get through if you just want an easy class.

An excellent instructor with "real world" experience - not a career academic. Cares about his students and helps them with their careers post college. Has great contacts and invites them to speak to class. My favorite teacher, hands down.

Bob Noll kicks ass. And for those who have not found out yet, don't waste anymore time taking classes from other Communications professors. He has the best connections and advice. Besides the man has 8 emmys and his plays are translated into other lanuages!
