she is one of the best teacher in UCI!! very nice. Class is just like the language class, lots of quizzes, but very easy if you remember the vocabulary and dialogue. she the director of the korean office, some one told me that she is the most strict one, but i didnt find out. include a lot of vocal practice, which is very halpfulal and i like it!

Great teacher. Clearly knows what she's talking about and is straightforward. Go to class and do your work and you're sure to land a decent grade. MEMORIZE THE DIALOGUE IN THE BEGINNING OF EACH CHAPTER. Daily quizzes as we complete each chapter as expected but it was a great class. I enjoyed it.

I'm glad to have had her for my first year of Korean. I've always looked forward to going to class. She is very clear and is willing to help students if needed. Her lessons are interesting and she always incorporates verbal practice during lecture. People have said that she grades hard, but I personally haven't really noticed that.

VERY good teacher. She is the Korean department head so you know she's gotta be good. She can be a little tough with grading minor mistakes. She ensures there is a good balance between exercising writing, reading, listening, and speaking skills. Homework takes 10 minutes to do. She's not a big k-pop fan though haha.

Very clear and energetic. She knows what she is teaching and provides great examples for us to learn the korean. Make sure to attend the lecture because otherwise you will miss both attendance and discussion point. The only thing I didn't like about this professor was, she never responds to your email.

I GOT AN 89% IN HER CLASS AND I'D HAVE TO SAY THAT SHE IS ONE OF THE WORST TEACHERS I'VE EVER HAD. COMPLETELY UNFAIR, DOES NOT CARE FOR HER STUDENTS, CAN'T SPEAK A WORD OF ENGLISH AND DISCOURAGING TO HER STUDENTS.
