I don't know why people put he is a bad teacher, he seems to joke around and maybe wants us to stop making mistakes we did in math before. After class ask him a question or two and he will help you, he is very nice.

haha, nothing to talk 'bout him, I just wanna drop this class now but I can't 'cuz if I drop it'll be part time study for this semester. Luckily I know quite well 'bout math so I can still survive thru his extremely hard class. Lots of nonsensical home works and silly handouts. Sorry but he's not patient and talks 'bout things not making sense

he is great, he gives very helpfull handouts to help you grasp material. He has students do class work out of math book and handouts and goes around answering questions. This was my third time taking math 70, and my first time getting an A in math, math is not my strong point, he brings it back to the basics. plan to study though.

HAHA! The most recent comments are sadly true. Just watching him is hilarious b/c he'll slaps the board really hard for no reason and he uses prehistoric metaphors. If you dont understand math DONT take him. Im good at math and i have a B. the good thing is he accepts late work and he has A/B level and C level exams. so you might have a chance.

What a joke. Like the fellow below me, I signed up for Hattar and got this guy. Don't believe any glowing reviews here, he's a joke. He yells and raises his voice at seemingly random times. The way he instructs completely contradicts the book, good luck understanding anything unless you can put his "lectures" into usable notes. Big ranter too.

I signed up for Hattar, but ended up having Mr. Pribnow. I am sorry, but I did not like his method of teaching. I had to drop because I was not learning. He seems like a good individual, but not for teaching math.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER !!! gives lots of homework, does not make sense, yells at you when you ask a question, Trust me when i say that basically half of everyone that took him last semester in my class took him because of his rating WRONG everyone that gave him a positive probably know math if you dont DO NOT TAKE him you wont learn at all !!

Don't believe the reviews on here. First off, if you are not a math major DO NOT take this guy, he will will give out long lectures and handouts that don't even have anything to do with what he's teaching. Basically, the class was full, and then the next day, it was cut down in size. Shouldn't that indicate something?

The best math teacher I have ever had. Quirky and will make you laugh everyday. I haven't done any HW and have learned more than any other Math class I have ever taken.

This is the best math teacher that I've had at Rio Hondo. He is extremely flexible with the work and test's. If you show any interest in passing, he'll help you in doing so.

He's funny yet can be extremely boring.He makes you think and doesn't want you to just memorize.He's different from most math teachers.You may at first not like him because you wouldn't be used to him but towards the middle you'll realize what a great a teachers he is.Even though he doesn't give a lot of homework,you'll still be able to understand.

He's one of those professors who still cares. He's pretty intimidating, but he's a good teacher. He believes in thinking, and tries to help you understand why, not just how, to do the problems. Also, he doesn't assign mountains of monotonous homework that kill hours without teaching you anything, like a lot of math teachers do.

This Professor is very unusual. He lectures the class and then starts ranting and raving about something completely off subject and then mumbles something that you problably should be paying attention to. When you ask him a question he will probably yell at you or make you feel dumb. Not on purpose its just his style. But he will try to help.
