Professor Barker is a kind and smart person. She does give out a lot of assignments, but the work is an easy A. If you listen to her when she talks and stay organized and keep up with the reading, this will be an easy class for you. This is not a class you can be lazy in

Loved being in her class. Just read the study guide and chapters and you'll get an easy A. She's very easy going and loves what she teaches. I would definitely take her again.

Professor Barker is not a good teacher to take. I took her for communications between cultures and it was honestly my hardest class. Get READY TO READ AND STUDY. She does not teach whatsoever. Always gets out late too. would NOT RECOMMEND.

I took her Comm. Between Cultures class. The material itself isn't hard. HOWEVER, she PILES up her work like there's no tomorrow! She assigns reading, homework, multiple projects and tests all at the same time, it's like taking 3 classes in one. Overall, she is nice and tries to make class interesting, but it doesn't make up for poor organization.

Mrs barker is boring. This class was boring and she is way into it. She gives so many assignments like you have no other classes. She takes attendance every class so if you miss more than 1 class she bumps your grade down.

Professor Barker is hilarious and helpful, and her class was an easy A. Just study for the tests and you'll do fine. Some little assignments and group projects here and there, but nothing too serious. I would recommend her for any COM class.

She is awful! She talks to you like you're retarded.. She will spend an hour ranting about such a common sense subject and it drove me up the wall. She hands you so many papers every day of different assignments which are all easy, but I have never had a teacher who assigns 5 different things to do at once, like you have no other classes.

I had her for comm between cultures. WORST CLASS EVER. Oh my GOD. If you are a college student and you don't have the common sense to know what is "culturally insensitive" no one can help you. I got an A on almost everything but ended up with a C because I missed more than the alotted classes. This class was so awful and she is a terrible bore

she's a nice person but sort of... eh i don't know, maybe it's just the class? kind of boring if you ask me. you do need to study for her tests, they're not hard but they do require you to look over the material. in the beginning she will tell you she deducts points for absences. she is SERIOUS. don't miss more than 3-4 or whatever is alotted.

Horrible, Horrible class. DO NOT TAKE. You'll fall asleep because she's so boring. She also says ummm roughly every 13 seconds or sooner. I counted in a 20min period 121 umms. That's why i fell asleep. I had an F at midterm and somehow had an A at the end. Got lucky i guess. I think i'm actually dumber for taking that class.

Mrs. Barker is a good teacher, the material can be boring and monotonous at times but she does a good job of trying to make it fun. There was more work than i was expecting but tests are very easy and she grades very fairly especially if u show a tad bit of effort.
