Comment:
For 323, he's an alright teacher. His exams are difficult, but you can get by. Very boring in class. Material is insanely difficult, but at least he doesn't dwell on the small things on exams... For 332 (Electromagnetics), he's MUCH more passionate. Easy to follow. Much more alive. Is more interesting. Very knowledgeable. Great teacher!

While he is a nice guy, he is totally ineffective as a professor. I ended up teaching myself the entire course there was not a single thing that I learned in class. He is incomprehensible, mumbles a lot and does not try to connect with his audience. He doesn't even pay attention to the fact that half of his class is asleep during the lecture.

Yes, his lectures are very boring, and it's hard to stay focused. Other than that, he's actually a very good professor. Gives good example problems, homeworks are challenging yet doable, and explains what will be on the tests. Doesn't try to hide anything from students or trick them. Lots of experience with semiconductors too.

Professor Constable is great. He expects a lot of his students, but if you do the work and seek help needed, you will leave the course knowing and understanding everything.

A very nice and smart man. He helps you whenever you have a problem and that kind of makes up what he can not convey in the class. His tests are actually fair because he gives you similar practice exam. A lof of engineering professors just can not convey the ideas to students because they are too smart and only they know what they are talking about

nice guy and all, willing to come in anytime for extra help, but the bottom line is that he is a terrible teacher. office hours barely help because he isn't any better at conveying the material one-on-one. don't ever take this class unless it's required.

Had this class and professor many years ago. Not effective professor, boring and cannot teach. Nice man but cannot get material across to students. Better off not coming to class and just read text. The other reviews were very comparable.

This had to be one of the toughest courses I have taken, but not because the material was hard, but how it was conveyed. He is a great guy, but the manner in which he teaches needs to definitely be re-evaluated.

This guy knows his stuff... don't get me wrong. BUT... he cannot teach it. Be prepared for BORING classes with mono-tone lectures. You must WANT to learn this if you are going to learn it.

BOOORING. Nice enough guy, but that isn't good enough. I like to give professor's credit, but I can't say he really deserves much. Lots of scattered formulas and very little sense made of them!

Worst engineering professor at Binghamton. Boring. Puts class to sleep. Material could be taught in a much better way. Useless class, and useless waste of time.

he's a nice guy, you just have to go to him for help. if you get left behind in his class, he'll be more than happy to help you. his class is not that bad as long as you do the work, too.
